  Excellent location just minutes walk from the centre of Holt, Almond Treet Cottage is a cute little property that was perfect for our family of five + dog. The rooms are actually larger and more spacious than they appear on the pictures and the secure yard perfect for the kids and dog to have a play. Generally well-equipped too, but they really do mean it when they say the stairs are steep - no good for elderly and we had to be very careful with our toddlers (again they warn about this, so not a complaint). Despite the parking restrictions we didn't need to use the permitted parking (5-7 mins walk away) for our entire week, instead managing to find on street unrestricted parking further down the street for the entirety of our stay - despite it being half term week. Fully recommend this cottage, especially if you want to explore Holt in particular.

  Another enjoyable stay in Almond Tree house. This is our 6th time here but first since pre-pandemic! Too long! Cottage and Holt well equipped and amazing as ever. Holt very much thriving with all cafe's restaurants and takeaway thriving. We arrived during the heatwave and the cottage was still very comfortable. Whilst here we celebrated Scott's 40th with various surprises including a private broads charter! North Norfolk fish and chip special on the railway! Surprise meal at Blyfords with cake made etc! Also our puppies first holiday too! Loved it! Thanks again and can't wait to come back very soon.

  Cottage is well appointed in centre of Holt with plenty of shops and quant little snickers (yards) to explore. Many places are dog friendly and extremely welcoming including The Feathers which serves good food at reasonable prices. Small garden has an unsecured gate which refuse collection left open so beware if you stay at the cottage with your four legged companions. Stairs to upper floor are very steep indeed. North Norfolk is beautiful with many places to visit including Hillside Animal Sanctuary who really appreciate the publics support. The Albertine is an ideal base to explore from.

  A lovely atmospheric, well equipped and very comfortable cottage in the delightful historic town of Holt. Great base for exploring North Norfolk and its stunning coastline, countryside and villages. Would thoroughly recommend. Although plenty of good eating establishments nearby, it’s also quite unique in that it’s a self catering let that is genuinely equipped for and seems to encourage self catering for a family (there was even a knife sharpener, which we’ve never experienced elsewhere before!).

  We have really enjoyed our stay in your lovely cottage - its very warm & cosy and has a welcoming feel to it. We have been to the North Norfolk Coast many times before but have never been to Holt before. Despite being rather chilly, with a little bit of rain, we've enjoyed trips to a number of beaches - Salthouse, Holkham (my favourite), East Runton (to eat fish and chips) and Wells. The kids loved it, as always. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend to friends. Many thanks,
