  My husband and I spent 4 days over Christmas at Margaretta House with our children and extended family, having stayed there previously for the October half term holidays. Margaretta House was the ideal choice for our large multigenerational group holiday, and we were very happy to come back for Christmas. The house is spacious and was beautifully decorated with a large Christmas tree. The house was warm, and had several woodburning stoves and an aga, perfect for winter. The kitchen was well-equipped, making it really easy for us to prepare all our meals including Christmas lunch for 14, and the enormous dining room was perfect for our big family meals. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable, and there are plenty of living areas to use so we never felt cramped. My children loved the massive sofas in the kitchen where they could play or watch TV whilst the adults cooked. Another highlight was the heated indoor swimming pool which the whole family used every day during our stay. The gardens are large and there was plenty of room for our children to run around (safely) outside and we all enjoyed petting the very friendly sheep. Great location and perfect for trips to the North Norfolk beaches and Sandringham which is close by. Highly recommend and would book again.

We were a group of adults with young children and it was perfect for us: extremely spacious, beautiful grounds (with even a playground and a trampoline) and of course the pool, which was warm and lovely to bath in despite the freezing temperatures. The kitchen is extremely well equipped and we cooked all of our meals there easily. Elizabeth was absolutely wonderful from the moment we booked until the moment we checked out - she took care of every single one of our (many) needs, adapting to our check in/check out times, and even unpacking our grocery delivery for us before we arrived.   Lovely home. The hosts of Margaretta House were wonderful. My fiancé and I stayed here for a couple of days for New Year's Eve with some friends and it was home-away-from-home. They were very personable, attentive, and extremely accommodating. It was like visiting a relative's home, inviting and warm. The house was wonderfully decorated, comfortable, and everything you could ever want; and they have an EV charger. The grounds are excellent. Plenty of land to roam and stroll around in or admire the sheep. We can't wait to come back to have our wedding here and enjoy this home with our family and friends. Thank you, Andrew and Liz!
