  We spent a lovely week in Hillside View, and we were not disappointed!

  The lodge was absolutely spotless on arrival and the perfect cosy home from home. Absolutely perfect hosts who responded quickly to any questions we had, but did not intrude other than that. The outside area is completely enclosed, so it perfect for anyone with a dog/ small children. We were so pleased with how well equipped the lodge was, with everything you could need in the kitchen as well as fresh bed linens and towels. Even the toilet rolls were stocked up! (We have actually stayed places that only provide 1 roll for an entire week!). The hot tub was checked daily, and was an absolute treat on an evening.. stargazers will be very pleased, we were in awe. The park is within 15 minutes of Alnwick and has plenty of surrounding attractions including castles and a zoo. However we stayed within walking distance for the week (we came to relax, and we have a very lazy bulldog

  We had a lovely stay at Hillside View, spotlessly clean throughout with everything and more you could need for a self catering break.

  (There was even a doggy bed in the cloakroom!) Bed was super comfy with a power shower in the en-suite to set you up for the day. Then after a day walking our Bully on the fantastic beaches at Seahouses and Bamburgh or walking the trials through Percy Woods the hot tub was just just thing to unwind in. Particularly liked the fact it was on a fully enclosed veranda so the dog wasn't tempted to go for a wander! Facing onto the golf course meant we had the sun all afternoon into the late evening bar one wet day! We will definitely be back (with clubs next time) to enjoy the lodge and the beautiful Northumbrian coast and countryside. Thank you Nicola and Paul for a lovely week,it felt like a real home form home!

  The cottage is an absolutely wonderful place to stay. The MOST comfortable beds (including the Shepherd's Hut); lots of cooking utensils, lovely welcome pack, clean and a lovely garden to it in if the weather is kind. So convenient for browsing in the town and 5 minute walk to two well stocked supermarkets, yet so quiet because of its setting within the grounds of Deans Court. One of the best places we have ever stayed! And the sound of the lovely 12 bells of Wimborne Minster just drifting in well-struck fashion across to the cottage on a Sunday was great too.

  My dear family treated me to a surprise three nights at Deans Court this last weekend, 8-11 November 2019, to celebrate my birthday. We stayed at Apple and Plum Cottages and I have to say, it was the perfect venue for the occasion. We self catered and even had a chef come in to cook us a very special dinner. The accommodation was very comfortable and well equipped for our needs. The close proximity to the town centre made for a pleasant gentle stroll into the beautiful market town of Wimborne. We also enjoyed excellent day trips to Studland and Corfe Castle.

  We had a wonderful stay at Plum Cottage - the cottage itself is beautifully furnished with a really well-stocked kitchen, lovely wood-burning fire and large, comfortable beds. The Shepherd's Hut on the property is a great addition - doubling as an additional bedroom with its own heating and cosy double bed. The estate feels very secluded, with private gates and views across the countryside from the cottage, but it's located within Wimborne town so you're only a short walk from the local cafes, shops and pubs. It was a perfect weekend getaway from London!
