  Vale view is the 2nd Pod I have stayed in over the last 4 years and this one was the best of the 2, fantastic view from the decking of the pod where you can see literally for miles. Loved the outside furniture, quality chairs and long bench with a nice table and Fire pit supplied. It is a must for star gazers who don't like light pollution, a real treat at night as you sit in front of a roaring fire pit. The pod itself is roomy enough for 2 people, I came here on my own with our dog for 3 nights for a break as my wife was away with her sister in York at the same time, pleased I picked this place and I look forward to bringing my partner here in 2022. Adequate cooking facilities with 2 hobs and a microwave. The shower unit was excellent with a powerful power shower and the bed was very comfortable. If you want to get off the beaten track then I highly recommend this place for peace and quiet.Finally, I must mention the host Paula, really helpful throughout and un-intrusive

  Superb location, well positioned for the east coast of Yorkshire.

  Close to Pickering. Very nice pub in the beautiful village of Cropton about 10 minutes walk. The Lodge itself is very clean and spacious in a very quiet but due to the trees dark location. Bedrooms are big enough but the double beds are too small for me and my wife but a King size would probably be too big for the rooms. Bed was hard and my wife found it very uncomfortable. Adequate wardrobe space. Bathroom is a wet room which is ok but took some clearing up after a shower as the water always escapes. The shower head clamp does not fit which needed some modification with a sponge cloth to make it useable. The Kitchen was very well equipped with Dish washer, good oven, and plenty of utensils. No washing machine which was disappointing. Lounge kitchen diner was very spacious and the furniture in very good order. All in all a pleasant stay but due to beds would not use again.

  What an amazing find!! The actual location is just breath taking. So quiet and peaceful! You feel like you’re on top of the world with the views. The pod itself is on another level of brilliant. We have stayed in glamping accommodation before but this is real luxury. The facilities are great and the pod is so warm and cosy. Cannot recommend enough!!

  There isn't always a view in late December. Long nights and low clouds sometimes get in the way. But when the cloud lifts it's stunning. It's an ideal spot for wildlife watching. The Wolds Way runs across the doorstep. And when you get home from visiting coast or countryside it's warm and welcoming. Thoroughly recommend

  Cannot recommend this place enough fabulous location, pods have everything you could possible need. Spotlessly clean great reception on arrival. Took our 2 dogs they had a great time with the open fields plenty of space to run around. Best thing of all is the views when opening doors of the pod AMAZING.
