We all loved it here, particularly our cocker spaniel who thoroughly enjoyed exploring the space around the lodge & all the lovely walks in the vicinity.
The lodge is in a lovely peaceful location with Dalbeattie Forest on the doorstep, and just a short drive to other stunning places for walks on beaches and in the woods. The lodge itself was warm and very comfortable, and had everything that we needed for our stay. We particularly appreciated the little luxuries like the soft fluffy bath towels, robe & slippers. The towels & bed linen smelled lovely and fresh, and the beds were very comfortable. The hot tub was a huge bonus! We would absolutely recommend this lodge and would love to return here.

Excellent property Had problems with the boiler and hot tub but this did not detract from the enjoyment of our holiday.
Excellent communication with the lovely lady Yvonne. Not so good with the manager of the property for various reasons â¹ï¸ Brilliant walks available from the doorstep.
