  A really beautiful property in the equally beautiful setting of the Holkham estate. The apartment was on the first floor so has lovely views and was cosy and warm. Very good range of coffee table style books left for us to read, a TV and a few board games. Spotlessly clean and modernized inside. All the equipment you would need for a short stay and reasonable storage. The bedroom vanity area had a mirror and plugs in all the right places for hairdryer etc. Very comfy bed but a bit short for a tall husband! The kitchen was well equipped with good quality items including an air fryer, coffee machine and microwave. The Holkham toiletries were from Holkham estate and really lovely. The owners also left a parking permit for the estate and a discount card for the shops. There was a wine shop behind the property which had a huge range and also gifts, and the country outdoor wear shop was equally well stocked with good quality items. Plenty of secure parking around the properties. The Victoria opposite is lovely although we didn't visit on this occasion we had been before and recommend it. Holkham beach is only a short walk down the road too. We would definitely consider staying in one of the properties again when in Norfolk and would recommend this property.

  A beautiful, stylish well-appointed cottage with everything we needed especially after a long journey. This is our second visit to Dorset. It's such a beautiful county full of natural wonders. We visited Portland Bill, RSPB Lodmoor, Ringstead Beach, Hive Beach and Cogden beach. We went fossil hunting in Charmouth which was brilliant, visited Lulworth cove, The Blue Pool and Chesil Beach. We had breakfast and lunch at The Lookout Cafe which is very nice. All in all a beautiful county with lots to see and do, and all from a very comfortable and cosy base - Granary Cottage.

  Glorious place with functioning mod cons. It is a delight to stay in The Granary. We've had a restful week in this comfortable , stylish holiday home. Would love to come back and stay longer. Thank you for the welcoming goodies and restaurant recommendations. The Smugglers Inn and The Springhead merited the recommendations - good nutritious food. We visited Abbotsbury gardens and The Swannary - in the warm weather it felt like paradise in the sub-tropical gardens. We've walked the coastal path and we've generally rested. The bath is amazing! Many thanks again.

  So happy that I came across this beautiful little cottage for my first time staying in Dorset. From the stunning decor, to the thoughtful welcome food items, it felt like home. A perfect location to explore nearby sights - I managed to walk from Osmington Mills to Lulworth Cove, despite Storm Babet! A day of heavy rain meant I had no alternative but to book into the fabulous Monart Spa in Poundbury. Highly recommended! Thank you for such a wonderful holiday home - I wish more owners would invest in providing such stunning decor and facilities.

  Wonderful cottage, with everything you could need. Really appreciated the milk, bread, eggs, fresh flowers and wine - lovely touch, thank you. Lovely meals at The Springhead pub and Smugglers Inn, both 10 minutes away. Visited National Trusts Thomas Hardy Cottage and Kingston Lacey, as well as privately owned Mapperton House and Athelhampton House - all different, but well worth visiting. Lovely area with wonderful countryside and a great 'home from home'. A very comfortable cottage to come back to - will be recommending to others!
