  We had an amazing week away at Lane Foot Cottage.

  The cottage is beautiful. Pictures don’t do it justice really. Spacious and airy, gorgeous features and furnished to a very high standard. kitchen is very well equipped, the showers are powerful, and the roll top bath is lovely. The views from every bedroom window are amazing. Private with only the horses in the field next door for neighbours The house is spotlessly clean, like not a spec of dust. All bedding and towels are high end hotel standard. Loads of pillows on each bed too. Slept very well. The only thing that would have improved our week would have been a bbq, totally my fault for not checking as the cottage is not advertised with one, so not a critisism bit more a suggestion. We’d happily pay more to have the use of one next time Check in and check out really easy and a very friendly host available if you need anything. All in all cannot recommend this cottage enough

  Gorgeous place not overlooked & the lake area is so nice.

  lovely & clean & attention to detail inside with nice modern touches, ornaments to make it feel homely & the biggest TV I’ve seen! Spacious, loads of storage & nice little seating area on the deck, which is enclosed for dogs. Good little welcome pack too. You can hear the traffic from the M6 & busy A road, not that it bothered me & it means it’s so easy to get to. Couple of things that I didn’t take as I assumed they would be provided is a hairdryer & washing up liquid so we missed those & my daughter was gutted we couldn’t get the led lights working around the TV unit as shown on the pictures, couldn’t find any details on how to switch these on. it’s a bit of a surprise that the park do not recycle the rubbish, but that’s on the park. All in all lovely relaxing stay in the lovely lodge & I would return for another visit.

  We have had a wonderful week’s break staying in Netherbeck Cottage.

  Julie was a brilliant host from pre arrival to post departure. The cottage is perfect in every way. We had most generous welcome treats to help us settle in. Netherbeck Cottage is fully equipped for self catering and we ate in several evenings. The rainfall shower was amazing and the bed was very comfotable. Julie had kindly printed off some local bus timetables and we used the bus to visit Morcambe and Lancaster. Carnforth is well situated for day visits out and we enjoyed a circular walk over Dallam Deer Park and to the Fairy Steps at Beetham. We also visited Warton Crag which is close by and has a great little microbrewery pub nearby. We highly recommend a stay at Netherbeck and will most definitely look to return in the future.   Fantastic cottage, very homely and easy to live in.

  Well equipped kitchen; I cook from scratch every day and didn't experience any problems at. Local shops sell good produce and having a Booths not too far away an added bonus. Garden was a good size and sensibly laid out with good views. The adjacent path leading to the river was a bonus for us and our little border collie. We completed lots of lovely walks some tricky, some easy; we were overwhelmed by the peace and quiet and the complete lack of litter. Saw lots of wildlife and heard lots of birdsong! The locals were friendly and informative re good walks. Our 6yr old Grandson said it was the best "Hide and Seek' house ever and our 10yr old Granddaughter asked to have another holiday there!

  Excellent cottage with superb facilities.

  It’s much better than the description on the listing. Fiona has maintained and kept the property at a very high standard. We did few nice walks by the river. We enjoyed the facilities and the surrounding soo much. Especially when we sat out in the garden, sound of river, beautiful backdrop and fresh air a superb trio for a nice pint of beer. Within 10 mins we could reach the small town High Bentham,with local amenities. One small thing I would have been very happy to have was an electric charging for my vehicle, as guests if we could keep a deposit and settle the amount that would have been great.
