What our customers say about their holidays

Fabulous stay!
The cabin is secure, warm and luxurious on the inside with a working kitchen / dining room. The views are absolutely beautiful, lots of fields to walk through and animals to look at. The cabin is built beautifully and the decor is lovely. The microwave oven was a nice added bonus as we didnât feel like eating out all the time so we were able to cook some good meals. Short distance to pubs, restaurants and Worcester centre. The only cons I have is that the hot tub was slightly murky looking upon our arrival which was fine however, we were staying Friday - Monday and by the Sunday morning, the water in the tub smelt pongy and pond-like. Also, the double bed in the living room is very, very springy which pokes into your back throughout the night. We ended up sleeping on top of a duvet and using the spare duvet instead which worked fine. The curtains were also very thin which meant we were woken up by the sun every morning (not a bad thing entirely, beautiful sights) but I would recommend blinds instead of curtains or at least some thicker ones. Other than this, we could not fault our stay and would definitely come back again.

The perfect break!
What a little gem of a property. Myself, my wife and our little dog stayed at The Croft to celebrate our 1st year wedding anniversary. The house is surrounded by areas of outstanding natural beauty which made great walks, with a welcome stop at a local pub for lunch. Malvern hills, wye valley and Cotswolds wildlife park and Zoo were just a few of the highlights. The house itself was absolutely outstanding. The level of care when we arrived shone through (from little chocolates by the bed and milk in the fridge to an anniversary card). The owners live next door and are the kindest loveliest people you could ever wish to meet! They do not intrude on your holiday at all. The grounds surrounding the house are quite difficult to put into words - a private forest, pond/lake and wonderful farm animals. Our little dog was really in his element here and we were too! The hot tub was a welcome way to end the day. Highly recommend staying here! It is a great place to unwind. We also purchased some lovely meat from the owners farm which is absolutely delicious. Thank you Sally and Steve!

The property owner is completely a rasist!
This was the worst holiday experience we had in our lives in the UK. This property owner is completely a racist who treats as per skin colour. We saw his mood change when he saw us for the first time. When we asked how to operate some equipment at the property, he sacastically laughed and replied, "I do not know," and he also shouted, "You should have come with a known one," when we asked how to open the hot tub. He threatened us to remove the vehicles from the property, and if not, he was going to run over them with his trailor. The bedding is not clean at all. You cannot see it in pictures, but we terribly smelt it. When enquired it he lied us those are just came from the laundry.Flies and mosquitoes are everywhere, but there hasn't been a vaporiser or anything.Wifi is a complete lie. There is no Wifi facility. The TV and its remote are not functioning as well. Do not ever book this terrible rude cottage!!!

We had a fantastic family getaway here.
The location was superb! The views were beautiful with the lake, swans, geese and ducks to watch. The hot tub was greatly enjoyed and constantly hot if you ensure the wood is topped up. It was the kids highlight of the holiday. The cabin had everything we needed and very comfortable, great shower and modern lighting. We visited Whitley court and gardens, the English Heritage site just across the road for a good walk and play and ate at Bloomfields for breakfast one day which we can highly recommend along with the New Inn and the Holt Fleece for evening meals, both catered for children. We stayed in winter and my only suggestion would be to add a mat on entry and a bath mat in the bathroom by the shower. Just to save the floor. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

We've just had a lovely stay in Ailsa Craig, 2 adults and 2 teenagers.
The cabin itself is in a great location, waking up over looking the ponds and hills was glorious. The owner allowed us to walk round some of their grounds so my boys had lots of space to burn of energy. You have everything you need within the cabin, plenty of plates, glasses etc. Didn't use the oven or bbq as we eat out each night or got takeaway. Likes the "techie" features of the bluetooth speaker and lights in the ceiling. The double bed sadly was awful, you could feel the springs through the mattress and we ended up having to by a mattress topper as we were so uncomfortable. Hot tub was lovely, loved that it was woodburing! It did begin to smell after 2 days of use so we didn't use it on our last day at the cabin. Overall we had a really nice day and would return.
