  Impressed? Most definitely.

  Words escape me. From the moment we viewed the Donkey Shed we ( a family of six ), knew we had to book it. The property is exactly as shown in the photos and is a real credit to the owners Max and Jackie. Perfectly located for exploring the coast, tourist attractions and much more. Have never seen such a spotlessly clean and well presented property. So well equipped, seclude, quiet and very relaxing, it is out of this world. As grandparents we travelled down with our family of four and were absolutely gobsmacked with the property on arrival. Our family have never stayed in a quality holiday let like this and they loved it. Due to some medical issues my wife and I had to return home mid week but left the family behind to enjoy the sunny weather and do lots of exploring. They enjoyed every day. Sadly we did not get to meet Max and Jackie but our family did and have said what a lovely couple they are. Although we did not meet face to face, the communication with Max and Jackie was the best we have ever had. Even since we arrived home they have contacted us with concern about my wife’s health, 10 out of 10 for that and many thanks. Overall a perfect holiday accommodation and worth every penny.   A beautiful modern property. Furnishings and fittings are nice and modern and there is a good supply of equipment and crockery (maybe a few more small plates would be good) in the kitchen. Ideal for families. Location is on the edge of the town centre and suited us perfectly. It’s up a hill from the centre but one of the routes isn’t steep at all. Good private parking with easy access to the rear of the house. Rooms are well proportioned with plenty of space. Stayed here before and liked it enough to return. As on my previous stay the only downside is that the WiFi doesn’t work and despite numerous attempts to contact the owner (without success) no explanation or help was given. I’m just pleased I didn’t need to contact the owners for anything more serious, Fortunately it didn’t spoil our holiday.

  The cottage was outstanding.

  As soon as we pulled through the gates to the spacious drive it had a very welcoming and comforting feel. The cottage is very well presented a real home from home. It was spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. It had everything you could ever need. A very spacious living area with two very comfortable sofas a large tv dining table and a very well equipped kitchen. Upstairs two very comfortable bedrooms with memory foam mattresses on the beds and a large bathroom with a large bath and separate shower with lashings of hot water. A private garden with new table and chairs makes the stay even more pleasant. We looked forward to returning to the cottage at the end of each day's exploring. The owners are very friendly and helpful without being intrusive. An absolute gem of a place.

  We had a lovely stay at Hill View cottage. It was great to have off road parking as it was easy to unload the car through the back gate. We only had a little dog and the rear enclosed back yard was ideal for him as we could leave the French doors open and not worry. I think a big dog would be too big for the the yard. The view from kitchen window was lovely. Ideal location 10 min walk to town centre. I think that the owner should stipulate that shoes must be removed at front door. We don’t allow shoes on in our house and this will keep carpets clean. The bedrooms were lovely and well kitted out with good storage, plenty of clothes hangers. The kitchen had all the utensils you needed. The cleaning team was very thorough with some lovely touches.

  We chose 2 Coppers Knapp due to being so close to the centre of Lyme Regis and able to park my car off road (plenty of room for a large car).

  It had a high level of decent fixtures and fittings, carpet throughout and settees seemed to be new and everything was clean and tidy when we arrived. We could not expect any more. A great holiday home. One niggle that might affect is the extremely bright LED floodlight on the hall across the road. It was turned on when we were there and it shines right through he front bedroom window. I was told that it was due to have a timer fitted to turn off a 11 pm. This window needs to have an additional blackout blind (or solid louvres as elsewhere) in addition to the current curtains.to reduce the effect of this light. This is not the owner's fault, but hopefully they can sort this out. Other than that, very highly recommended.
