Best locations for log cabin holidays with a hot tub

Planning on heading somewhere new this year? Here's just a few of our favourite locations for hot tub log cabin holidays in the UK. Or, if you prefer somewhere a little more homely, try out our cottages with hot tubs next!

Wales

Best for: Trying out a new activity - 100mph zip lining, anyone?

Peaceful, rural, yet still brimming with endless opportunities for adventure, Wales has something for everyone. Whether you're staying in the north or heading down to the south, you'll find gorgeous beaches, dramatic mountain ranges, and miles of idyllic countryside all rolled into one impressive country. It's also the ideal place for keen historians to discover - did you know that it's home to over 600 castles?

Devon

Best for: Soaking up the sun without having to travel abroad!

Our list wouldn't be complete without a mention of Devon. Famed for its glittering coastlines and golden beaches, it's the perfect choice for those who are dreaming of exotic destinations but don't fancy the hefty price tag or long flights that go along with them! The county isn't short on green spaces either - the renowned Exmoor National Park offers plenty for hikers to fall in love with.

Yorkshire

Best for: Discovering the many historical places

Rich in Roman and Viking heritage, Yorkshire offers plenty to be discovered. Whether you're roaming the historic streets of York or unwinding in a cosy cabin in the wilderness, there's so much to soak up. The county is home to not one, but two stunning national parks, including the North York Moors and Yorkshire Dales. Natural beauty is in abundance here - so why not discover it for yourself?

Cornwall

Best for: Enjoying a classic seaside break

Yet another beautiful county famed for its spectacular coastlines, Cornwall is one of the most popular holiday destinations in the UK - and for very good reason. Here, you can enjoy a traditional seaside break while basking in its unique subtropical microclimate. Of course, a stay here isn't complete without sampling some authentic Cornish pasties!

Norfolk

Best for: Experiencing total peace and quiet!

Whether you're strolling through one of its quaint market towns or discovering the enchanting Norfolk Broads, life takes a slower pace here in Norfolk. The perfect setting for a hot tub with little in the way of distraction, you could be enjoying delightful countryside views while soaking your cares away in a bubbling jacuzzi in no time at all.

The Beer to Branscombe Walk takes you through two pretty villages in East Devon. Along the way, you'll discover historical monuments, an abundance of wildlife, and of course, incredible views! Be sure to stop by one of the local pubs to refuel before making your way back around.

Broxa Forest

Location: Yorkshire Difficulty: Easy/ medium Walk length: Just under six miles

The ideal trail for nature lovers, the circular path around Broxa Forest should take you around two and a half hours to complete. Breath in the fresh pine scents as you make your way along this enchanting woodland, located within the stunning North York Moors National Park.

Bude to Northcott Mouth

Location: Cornwall Difficulty: Easy Walk length: Three and a half miles

There's nothing more refreshing than a good beach walk, and Cornwall certainly isn't short of those. The Bude to Northcott Mouth trail passes by plenty of popular landmarks, including Summerleaze Beach and Bude Sea Pool. This is a circular walk, so there's no need to go back on yourself.

The Weavers' Way

Location: Norfolk Difficulty: Easy/ medium Walk length: Varied

The Weaver's Way is a 61-mile footpath that connects the north and east coastlines of Norfolk. There's plenty of opportunities to join different sections, regardless of where you'll be staying.
