What our customers say about their holidays

We had a wonderful long weekend at The Old Dairy in Mundesley. Three generations of us gathered for a family occasion. We could not fault the accommodation or hosts. The property itself has charming character, with a high spec finish, lots of extra touches and beautiful interior. The pictures really do not do it justice. The Old Dairy is very spacious, with more than adequate room for full occupancy, plus a dog. I especially liked the art work and soft furnishings. Accommodation had literally everything and more you could possibly need for a short or long break. Family games and beach toys/equipment, were a nice touch too. It was like a home from home. Complimentary tea and coffee, cleaning and personal provisions, alongside a welcome hamper (with wine and other necessities!), fresh flower arrangements were a particularly nice touch. The large dining table was an excellent base for eating, conversations and playing games. The garden is as beautiful as the house, we especially enjoyed the garden lights while we made the most of the hot tub in the evenings. Just a short walk from the village, pubs, shops and beach, with everything in easy reach, it provided the ideal location. Everything was immaculate, fresh and clean, with the hot tub being checked/cleaned regularly. That said we felt very comfortable as an extended family, making full use of everything and making ourselves at home. A perfect break in the perfect accommodation, we would definitely return and highly recommend. Ian and Jackie were wonderful attentive hosts, without being intrusive, offered friendly chats in passing and on standby if we needed anything. Thanks for a really wonderful stay!

Fantastic location for a cottage, easy walking distance from the beach and local amenities. Able to walk for miles along the beach to either Cromer or Happisburgh with the option of the return journey or catching the bus back. Local shops provided all you can need to be self-catered, range of take-away places, a Tesco Express up the road or the Ship Inn for a nice selection of good food. Beautifully presented cottage with all that you could need. Well equipped kitchen, with provision of washing-up and dish washer detergents. Loved the selection of available books, games and DVDs. Comfortable beds. Linen and towels smelt divine. Wood burner was easy to light and warmed downstairs in no time at all. Garden looked good but we didn't really utilise given the time of year for our visit. Spacious dining room table in an open plan area was really quite lovely for leisurely breakfast and evening dinners. Driveway was big enough for 2 cars however access could be challenging depending on what cars were parked on the lane. Reversing in seemed the easiest way. No Wi-Fi in the cottage but there are lots of establishments that provide it. Mobile signal was patchy. Neither of which were a problem and we were still able to use phones as required without too much extra data usage.

Janiero is a beautiful cottage situated a few minutes walk from Mundesley beach. The hosts Geoffrey and Maddie are very welcoming. Geoffrey met us on arrival and showed us around the cottage. They had left a beautiful note, chocolate and much appreciated milk in the fridge. It was the perfect start! The cottage itself is beautifully presented, newly refurbished with a well stocked kitchen. The hosts also provided a whole range of games and books, which is valuable if you’re travelling with family. The bedrooms are very comfortable with the added bonus of a view of the sea from the main bedroom. Our little one loved the bunk beds and decoration in her room. This cottage has the extra special feature of a beautiful, well kept garden and we spent lots of time in it playing and enjoying the sunshine. It also has a barbecue and the hosts provided a single use tray which was appreciated for our first ever family barbecue. We highly recommend Janiero and can’t wait to return. Thank you Maddie and Geoffrey for a wonderful relaxing stay.

We had a great family holiday at Dairy Court. The house and garden are lovely. The house is very spacious, there were nine of us staying and it was not at all cramped. The location is brilliant, great for exploring the North Norfolk Coast. We also booked a boat from Wroxham to spend a relaxing day on the Broads. The little shops, amusements and beach in Mundesley are at a short walking distance. The Butcher sells the most delicious homemade pies. There are two good gift shops and a charity shop supporting the Lifeboat. The Porthole had delicious coffee, cakes and lunches. The Hot Tub went down well with some family members. The owners made sure it was regularly cleaned etc. The huge screen, complete with play station stuff, was a huge hit with our boys aged 13 and 16. All in all, we had a truly memorable family holiday.
