  Rhydlandgoed is a lovely cottage attached to the main house.

  It is very comfortable and nicely furnished and with little oddments (ornaments, pictures) scattered around to make it feel homely rather than an anonymous rented space. Everything we needed was provided - logs for the woodburner, towels, bedding, crockery, cooking utensils, hair drier etc..We really enjoyed it. The owners were very welcoming and looked after us without being in any way intrusive. When we had a power cut they quickly brought over lanterns so that we weren't completely in the dark (it only lasted about 10 minutes). The main house has beautiful gardens, which you are free to make use of, and it is all set amidst the National Trust Colby Woodland Garden. So quite isolated. It's a 20 minute walk down a woodland track into Amroth village, where there are three pubs and a couple of shops. It is probably possible to drive down but we preferred not to. Make sure to take a torch for dark nights! Amroth itself has an expansive beach and is well placed for exploring. You can walk to Saundersfoot along the beach at low tide, although some rock clambering is involved if you don't want to get wet feet. Tenby, Narbeth, Laugharne and Stackpole are all a short drive away, with St. Davids being about an hour. Very enjoyable and recommended.

  This was our wedding anniversary break for a week & we weren’t disappointed with the Barn at Waunlippa.

  The garden it self was stunning with a pond in the middle, a stream running through the far end. A lovely walk around the perimeter with a nature area for wildlife in the middle. The lovely sound of birds & farm animals during the day & occasionally during the night with you get use too. The barn itself was absolutely cosy, a great set up with the kitchen & lounge in one area, bathroom & then a very comfortable bedroom. The dogs struggled with the hard flooring, a bit slippy for their liking but we just put towels down for them to walk on. I actually couldn’t fault anything about this place because we went for a relaxing holiday & if that’s what you’re looking for then I would highly recommend it. Our 3 dogs are getting on now but even they loved the garden area. Finally Patrick & his wife were perfect hosts. You couldnt ask for better. The hand over & handing back went smoothly & the chats during the stay were nice. Perfect

  The cottage was a pure joy to stay in.

  Our hosts Carolyn and Tony were welcoming on arrival and gave us a tour and history of the property. The cottage is set in the most beautiful setting and at this time of year the rhododendrons and azaleas were stunning. It is bright and spacious with comfortable beds and tastefully furnished, very homely. You can also visit tea room next door which serves delicious cakes. There is just a 15 minute walk through the grounds to the small seaside village of Amroth with a welcoming pub which serves very nice food. We walked with our dogs to the next seaside town of Saundersfoot via the Pembrokeshire Coastal path, there are very steep steps at first to climb but the views at the top are well worth it. If the tide is out then you can walk on the beach. Tenby is a short drive away and Barafundle beach and Bosherston lakes are a must visit. It is a piece of paradise, quite and tranquil.

  An attractive cottage (no doubt a barn conversion).

  Has lots of potential but not a four star as advertised. Have stayed in many many cottages and never before have we had to strip the beds ourselves on vacating. Requires new double glazing and definitely toilet roll holders in bathrooms. Beds were comfortable. Rotary washing line needs attention instead of rocks to keep it in place and garden etc needs a general tidy up. Dark, cold and a bit disappointing on arrival but we got used to the cottage and it grew on us. Couldn't use the WiFi (password?!). Up to date information re supermarkets would have been helpful as found the Kilgetty coop in a right mess so a wasted visit. Contented Sole had the worst chips we had ever had. Oh and a shower cubicle upgrade is required upstairs if the property is to remain a four star. A few other pointers if it would help but not mentioned here. Just a general upgrade needed.

  Nice property in a great location for exploring the beautiful area of a Pembrokeshire with all of the main visiting areas within a lovely 30 min drive.

  A small group of cottages around a courtyard/parking area but each are private and quiet. The cottage is spacious, comfortable and clean with everything you need provided. Ideal for 2 couples or a family as 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The superking ensuite bedroom is fabulous and also has an extra single bed. Nice, large ,safe, gravelled enclosed garden area for the pooch. The local pub The Boars Head, literally a 1min walk down the road is an absolute must, the food and service is outstanding and it's dog friendly but advised to book as it gets very busy with locals and visitors. Tim the owner of the cottages is friendly and helpful and lives just behind the cottages so is always on hand if you need anything. Highly recommend a stay here and would not hesitate to return.
