Carus Green offers a challenging 18-hole parkland course which guests are entitled to discounted green fees.
Ten minutes away is Kendal, known as the ‘Gateway to the Lake District’. The town’s unique blend of history, culture and shopping make it a popular place to visit. The town is famous for its Kendal Mint Cake and it is still produced locally in the town. Lake Windermere can be reached in just 15 minutes' drive where an amazing scenery and leisure activities await. The beautiful Cumbrian countryside offers a range of walks suitable for all abilities.

We are not golfers but we have enjoyed 8 days in this excellent accommodation, Golf Club and restaurant staff matched the accommodation. Well located for visiting around the lakes. Would highly recommend.
