This perfect romantic cottage is situated in a truly away-from-it-all location, where nature really does meet you at the door; the Hardknott Pass is just outside the cottage, as is the River Duddon as it tumbles its way down the valley towards Seathwaite, in the beautiful Lake District National Park. Inside this cosy cottage is an open plan living area with a woodburning stove and superb views out to the surrounding fields and fells, together with a well-equipped kitchen, a bathroom and a double bedroom. Outside there is an enclosed garden and patio, surrounded in every direction by beautiful scenery. This really is a cottage where the air is pure and refreshing, the scenery breathtaking and the welcome warm. It is the perfect 'hideaway' for a couple wanting to escape for an activity-filled holiday in the Lakes or for a romantic break. The owner is charming, helpful and very attentive to make sure everything works as it should. It was a pleasure to stay there and we will do so again.
