A charming second floor cottage, a short walk from the centre of the bustling Cumbrian market town of Kendal. Located in Yard 23, this quaint cottage apartment provides spacious accommodation with a large dining/kitchen area with beams, together with a sitting room with original stone features. This Kendal apartment has three bedrooms and a lovely bathroom which is perfect for relaxing in at the end of the day. Kendal is a thriving market town with many fine restaurants and cafes located down "Yards" - small narrow alleyways which branch off from the main streets. With the Lake District on your doorstep, this Kendal cottage offers a superb base to explore the spectacular mountains and lakes returning to enjoy the fabulous amenities in this "auld grey town".

The property is very spacious and has some lovely original features and lots of character, our grandchildren particularly love the coloured lights which illuminate the âloftâ space visible above the kitchen. Well equipped kitchen and comfortable beds, excellent location close to bus and train stations and town centre shops. Parking space is an unusual asset in central Kendal. The property owner is very friendly and helpful. We have been visiting Kendal for some years now as we have family living locally, and we enjoy the feeling of it still being a real town rather than somewhere wholly geared to tourists.

Thank you!

Also, it was difficult to get the central heating to work efficiently - we switched it off at night to stop over heating.
