Lake Lodge Studio receives praise for its excellent location, cosy atmosphere, and the added luxury of a hot tub. Guests appreciate the dog-friendly environment and the warm welcome from the hosts. The property's garden and views are also highlights, contributing to a relaxing stay. While some guests mention areas for improvement, the overall sentiment is positive, with many expressing a desire to return.
Most guests found the property clean and tidy upon arrival, with only a few mentioning the need for a deeper clean in specific areas such as the kitchen and bathroom. The positive remarks suggest a high level of cleanliness overall.
The property's location is frequently praised for its proximity to Bowness and the Lake District's attractions. The scenic surroundings and quiet setting are appreciated, although a few guests noted it was slightly further from the town than they preferred.
Guests generally find the studio cosy and the bed comfortable. However, some guests mentioned issues with heating and the size of the studio, suggesting room for improvement in overall comfort.
While the hot tub is consistently highlighted as a fantastic feature, there are mixed reviews regarding other facilities. Some guests mention a lack of cooking amenities and issues with maintenance, such as loose decking and electrical concerns, which prevents a definitive score.
Several guests mention thoughtful touches like birthday cards and chocolates, indicating a degree of thoughtfulness from the hosts. However, as these gestures may not be experienced by all guests, it is noted that such personal touches, while delightful, are not guaranteed.
Lake Lodge Studio is the perfect romantic hideaway for a couple who love the great outdoors. Part of the owners’ home, yet completely self-contained the studio has its own pretty garden with decked patio and luxurious hot tub.
The owners have considered every detail when designing this fabulous space, and nothing has been left out. There is private parking for 1 car, and up to three pets are welcome to enjoy the laid-back vibe. Entering through a pretty conservatory which overlooks the garden, the open-plan living space has been cleverly planned and has everything needed for a perfect break.
Wood panelling gives the studio a welcoming and cosy feel, and the feature bed is the perfect spot for lazy mornings and early nights reading or watching TV. The dining area is positioned by the window to make the most of the view, and compact kitchen has everything needed for a hearty breakfast or evening meal. A separate shower room has shower, basin and wc. Outside there is a space to sit and dine al-fresco, and of course there is the outdoor jacuzzi to enjoy.
The property is just two miles from lively Bowness with its restaurants, tea-rooms and shops, yet has a feeling of seclusion and total privacy. This is a very special and unique property for those looking for somewhere rather special.

Hot tub is a bonus. Steps in us a climb especially when wet but just need to take care. A good place to stay as its just short drive to other place to visit.

Close to Bowness and hawkshead ferry. The bed is so comfy we didnât want to get out! The cottage is the most dog friendly weâve ever stayed in. Will definitely be back and recommending to family and friends
