Guests say

Shore Hall is consistently praised for its spaciousness, comfort, and thoughtful touches by hosts Lyn and Paul. The property boasts a mix of old and new, with a well-equipped games room, multiple TV lounges, and comfortable bedrooms suitable for multi-generational families. The outdoor hot tub is a highlight, even in inclement weather, and the property's location offers stunning views and proximity to local amenities like a welcoming pub. While there is a mention of a minor issue with shower pressure and a temporary dishwasher outage, guests are overwhelmingly positive about their stays.

Guests have described the property as spotless, indicating a high level of cleanliness throughout Shore Hall. The consistent mention of cleanliness in the reviews supports a near-perfect score.

The location is frequently highlighted for its stunning views and proximity to local walks, a friendly pub, and the picturesque setting. The ease of access to the Pennines and the property's integration into the landscape contribute to a high score.

Reviewers consistently note the comfort of the property, mentioning cosy living spaces, well-designed bedrooms, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The property's ability to accommodate large groups comfortably supports a high score.

Facilities like the hot tub, sauna, games room, and well-equipped kitchen are well-received. However, a temporary issue with the dishwasher and feedback on the need for larger cookware slightly affect the score.

The hosts' thoughtfulness is evident in the provision of festive decorations and their responsiveness to guests' needs. While gifts are warmly mentioned, it is important to note that such personal touches, though likely, are not guaranteed for every stay.

Great walks and pub on doorstep. Great attention to detail and we loved the hot tub and sauna

Myself and 10 friends (and two dogs) stayed for a weekend away and have no complaints whatsoever. The house is SO spacious featuring two large sitting rooms, six large bedrooms and a huge dining table to accommodate us all. The extra features such as the gorgeous hot tub and games room were a real bonus, and the house (specifically the kitchen) was well equipped with everything we needed to cook some big meals. There’s a friendly pub just down the track which we stopped off at after a local walk which also serves some gorgeous food. Overall we would definitely recommend and would live to return one day! Thank you Lyn! :D

The house is really comfortable in a beautiful setting and there was plenty of space for all of us to relax together or separately. The only feedback I have is that there isn't much provided in the house - only 1 dishwasher tablet, 1 toilet roll per bathroom, no spare bin liners, and no kitchen essentials like oil, salt, pepper, tea or coffee. We had to do an emergency run to the shop when we realised the toilet roll and bin liner situation. Likewise in the kitchen, there aren't really any big pots and pans for group cooking which was a bit tricky when cooking pasta for 12. Overall though we loved it and would definitely come back - thank you!
