Suited our family with 2 boys aged 20 and 16. We had a fab week. The chipped glass hadnt been replaced from previous comments, one of the chairs in cinema room in a bad state, and agree could do with some cereal bowls as others more like pasta dishes. But this didn't affect our stay. Walking around the site we have seen our next stay

One of the glass tumblers was chipped. No cereal bowls. The tin opener was dirty. Couldn't see out of patio doors because double glazing was blown. One of the chairs in the cinema room was ripped. Oven trays were still dirty from previous occupants. The windows were filthy inside and out. Considering the amount of money we spend with Sykes each year I would expect some recompense from you if you wish us to be future customers.

The beds were comfortable and everything was clean and modern. The children loved the cinema room and games room too - perfect for rainy days and family entertainment. No one complained about being bored! The listing needs to be updated to reflect all items in the property including fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and hairdryer. You are selling the place short. There was some minor wear and tear - cinema seats and broken blinds. The lock on the door is not ideal (from the inside) for families. The thumb turn lock creates a risk that children could open the door and leave the lodge. All in all a great lodge, would definitely return here.
