  We arrived and found the holiday home exactly as advertised, beautifully furnished and everything gleaming and a very well appointed kitchen with every gadget you could need.

  The garden and its different seating areas was in excellent condition and very private and safe for our grandson. We also met our lovely host Belinda and found a lovely welcome pack of goodies in the kitchen. We especially liked the tourist information pack and a very good welcome brochure recommending places to eat as well as essential information. We stayed 2 weeks in total comfort and Stanley Villias was in the perfect location to take advantage of all the lovely places to visit in the surrounding area. We highly recommend No 2 Stanley Villa as the perfect place to stay to explore Hereford and beyond and to return home to relax in comfort. There were absolutely no negatives about this lovely holiday let and we completely understand why Sykes customers keep returning to this property. Extremely warm welcome from the hosts, a high end finish holiday home in a beautiful and tranquil position. We are delighted to say we will return too.

  The house was a little difficult to find, but well worth the wrong turn I took at the end of the journey. A sign at or on the first gate would help with finding the property. The house itself is a converted barn and the owners have done an excellent job, it was spacious with 3 tri-fold doors forming the rear wall allowing you to walk out onto a massive patio with a barbecue and seating area. The house has been tastefully decorated with everything you would need for a week long stay and underfloor heating to keep it warm. They left a lovely welcome pack, and the house was clean and tidy, it’s in a lovely quiet area and we were able to sit outside hearing nothing but the sheep in the neighbouring field and watching the local wildlife. Unfortunately the internet was down for the whole village and BT didn’t fix it until the end of our stay, but we were able to get a phone signal on one of our phones, so didn’t cause a problem .

  A beautiful setting down a secluded track. You are surrounded by trees and rolling farmland. The property itself is perfect. The bedroom and bathroom are a great size with plenty of space. The rest of the property is made up of the hallway, kitchenette and lounge area. All well equipped and comfortable. The garden is fully enclosed but has stockproof fencing so small dogs may be less secure. The garden and patio area are outstanding. We had a thoroughly lovely stay. The peaks are around 30-35 minutes away. The local surroundings are also very beautiful. We had an issue with the local power supply on one of our days. Mel was very helpful providing updates and candles in case it didn’t come back on before nightfall. She was a pleasure to meet and looks after the property very well. I do hope we have the opportunity to come back!
