We had a great time at Cherry cottage as an extended family group. The accommodation is nicely arranged with plenty of bathrooms and space on the upstairs floor. The downstairs has a lovely lounge where we could relax if the weather was bad (which it wasn’t!) The garden is great and is situated in a very special and secluded rural area of the South Hams. There’s a really lovely local walk around Slapton Ley and woodland. We had 4 young children with us who loved the freedom of the garden and hopefully we didn’t make too much noise! With 2 dogs, 2 families, 4 young children in tow, it was a great place for us to all relax enjoy some family time in a beautiful area and enjoy fantastic days out on the many beautiful local beaches.

My family's had two wonderful holidays staying at Buckland. We're 5 plus a dog and we had lots more room than we needed, everything was thoughtfully provided and of a lovely standard - nice bed linen, brilliantly equipped kitchen, great TV, and all spotless. The location is fantastic and on each holiday we've been spoilt for choice for days out at the beach, seaside village and town, moors, or just very locally around Slapton and wonderful local walks. The owners had provided thoughtful local info and suggestions and contact details, and the instructions for working things, finding the property and the key were all great. I'd totally recommend Cherry as a wonderful place for a family holiday.

Prior to arriving we received very clear instructions as directions, access codes and intricacies with relation to codes ref access. On entering the apartment how fantastic it was to have refreshments available. As we unpacked the attention to detail throughout the accommodation it could be seen that a great deal of thought had been taken with respect to providing required to ease the use and aid anyone staying. Infact we felt when it became time to leave that we probably could have stayed for much longer. To sum our stay, the highest accolade we could say is that we would look to stay again in the future. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Cherry Cottage. The children loved the garden and it felt safe to let them enjoy themselves with other children on site without parents checking on them all the time. It was very spacious for 8 people and we didn't feel on top of one another. It would have been nice to have a chair or stool in the bedrooms to put clothes on and one double room didn't have a bin for makeup wipes etc. Spacious property for 8 people. Enough equipment for our stay. Lovely safe garden for children age 7&8. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We have been staying at 2 At The Beach for 13 years now. The apartment is lovely, has everything you need, always very clean and well kept and of course its very dog friendly, even to supplying us with dog treats, towels and bowls. A lovely welcome pack was left for us too. We cannot fault the apartment at all. We enjoy sitting on the patio looking out to sea, its very relaxing. Torcross is a beautiful area, its quiet with a local pub and cafe and restaurant/takeaway. A bonus is a car parking space too.
