Holidays in Snowdonia
Quiet Hikes
350,000 people take on Mount Snowdon each year, making it a very busy mountain but there others to try. Tryfan is a nice mix of hiking and mountaineering but recommended for well-equipped climbers. Cader Idris Peak's summit is at 2,930 feet and is a popular hike to conquer. These mountains offer a quieter, often more pleasant climb, especially during warm weather. Rest up after a tough day's climb in a cottage, complete with a hot tub for total muscle relaxation.
Family Walks
If you're looking for more accessible adventures with young children, perhaps try the Cwm Idwal walk. This three mile walk along mountain paths is only moderately strenuous and follows Llyn Idwal, a lake formed by the ice thousands of years ago. There are many more family friendly walks listed on the local government website. After your day's walk, enjoy a cosy cottage and snuggle up in front of the fire. Safe in the knowledge that we only give you the best deals, and our customer service team is always on hand should you need anything.
