  Stunning property, in the perfect location. Kept so clean, everything looks brand new! Furniture and decor lovely and of good quality, quite quirky, old and new. Very cosy and relaxing, really feel like we’ve had a good break. Lots to do around us, and many very dog friendly places to visit. The welcome pack and other bits (tea/coffee/sugar/milk/logs/loo roll/cleaning bits) made the stay and us feel very special, it’s very thoughtful, and a great start to the break after a long drive. Plenty of free parking nearby. Would definitely return/recommend. Only thing we wished for, was an extra hour/later departure, but that itself doesn’t put us off.

  This cottage is just beautiful, local restaurants Bang in Wells and the Wells Crab House are amazing. If you want an extra special evening The Victoria inn is very classy. We had the most amazing week in this cottage, right in the middle of the Main Street with shops located either side, it’s the perfect location. Very comfortable with all amenities provided for us. Highly recommend Thursford Christmas Extravaganza, seal spotting at Blakeney Point and the Sandringham Christmas market! Some terrible weather kept us in but the cottage was so comfy and homely we really didn’t mind just relaxing in the warm. We will definitely be back next year

  The cottage was beautifully refurbished but was a little less spacious than we expected. It did not have as much light in the downstairs rooms as anticipated. The photos did not adequately convey this. It was a disappointment to have to have lights on at all times of the day even when it was hot and sunny outside. Also thought the outside seating area was less private than expected. It was disappointing to see a rather shabby building opposite and was generally overlooked by close proximity neighbours. Nevertheless we had a good holiday and enjoyed the ease of acces to everything that Wells has to offer that the property gave us..

  A lovely place to stay in the heart of Wells. On the Main Street. Comfortable downstairs space and well stocked kitchen. Nice welcome pack. First floor bedroom good size and en suite good shower. Stairs light automatic. We didn’t sleep on the third floor but was nice bedroom with en suite. The stairs are steep but there is a support rope. The decor for the house with exposed beams and a Gladstone bag was really nice and we felt at home. We had drinks out in most of the pubs and ate out locally all good. Lovely local beaches and coastal walks around the area. Great place to stay to explore the area.

  2 young couples + our medium sized dog had such a fabulous stay here!, the cottage is full of period character and charm, and we loved snuggling up in front of the log burner on an evening - a real home away from home, where we were all super sad to leave! kitchen has everything you need, but your also spoilt for choice with pubs and eateries in the villages. The location on the high street of Wells was perfect; butchers, bakeries, green grocers, coffee shop and cute boutiques all on your doorstep! 100% recommend this property to small families and couples exploring the Norfolk coast.
