Had to msg iwner about the hairdryer not functioning and it was replaced via Amazon the next day. I had a pleasant exchange with the owner who came across as warm and helpful. Skyes Holiday Cottages on the other hand bombard with lists of instructions which are needlessly dictatorial. I absolutely agree that one should treat holiday Accommodation with care and respect and leave it tidy and free from personal detritus but one pays pretty handsomely for the privilege of staying; it's not a freebie or a favour. By all means ask guests to empty fridge and bins, strip bed perhaps but express this as things which would be appreciated rather than demanded. And never suggest that the dishwasher be run overnight. A fire hazard while occupants are sleeping might lead to disaster and a hefty damage insurance claim.

We had the most amazing stay at Revilo Lookout 24-26 Jan to celebrate our friend’s 50th birthday. We traveled during storm Eowyn which was gale for winds but it didn’t spoil our trip. On arrival everything outside was secured which I was pleased about. We were welcomed with a hamper which was packed full of treats for our stay and a lovely bottle of red wine and Prosecco. The fridge had milk, butter, cheese and fresh orange juice in which was such a lovely touch which makes all the difference. The accommodation was beautiful, very well kept and immaculately clean. We made use of the hot tub on the Saturday once the storm had passed and the binoculars and telescope came in handy for stargazing at night with a clear sky. We had a wonderful weekend just laughing and catching up, we thoroughly enjoyed it.

Nice apartment in great location just where I wanted to be, central for all amenities including town centre, beach, harbour, shops etc, apartment had everything I needed quiet with all the essentials clean and tidy and well equipped, parking not a problem with permits and availablity. Stopped at Seagul Vista, lovely cosy cottage very quiet, the views from room window were stunning. Only ten minutes walk to sea front. Lovely cafe Cranberry Swamp behind d cottage. Loads of shops and restaurants. Towels are supplied and the washer dryer was ideal to get your washing done before you repack for home. Complimentary basket 2 small bottle s of beer and small bottle of prosecco plus lively cookies. All in all a very enjoyable stay would definitely go again.
