  Lovely property, very cosy and homely.

  Great location. Good sized kitchen. Really nice to get a welcome pack with some local produce to enjoy, thank you. Comfy beds & sofas. The travel cot smelt very damp and musty so we couldn’t use it for our 5 month old. Main bedroom & cupboard smelt like it has a slight damp issue - no window in there. Some crumbs on floor & work surfaces when we arrived and we had to clean a lot of the kitchen cutlery/appliances before use, but all was fair as they can’t check everything left from previous users. When we got there the tv remote said low battery and didn’t last long so we went out and brought more batteries for it so we could use tv. Our one year old loved the long hallway running up and down and the building blocks to play with. Great to have two decent bathrooms and useful access for buggies with side entrance. We would recommend and enjoyed our stay. Thank you

  We had a 5-night stay in Lyme Zest during July/August 2024 and absolutely loved it.

  To be fair, we had the most perfect weather imaginable but it was topped off by staying in this lovely apartment. The owners have clearly made an effort to make you feel welcome. The bottle of wine was a lovely touch. The apartment itself is beautifully appointed. It's been newly refurbished and had everything we needed for ourselves, our two boys and our dog. It is a good 10-15 minute walk to town and 20 minutes right to the beach although we weren't hurrying so you could probably do it more quickly. As other reviews have said, the walk back is very much uphill but it's Lyme Regis - you expect a few hills! Best route is down the path to the side of the property and then a lovely walk along the river into town. The next time we're planning to come this way, we'll definitely look to stay at Lyme Zest again.

  Conkers is a lovely Georgian apartment that faces The Downs - a sloping grassy area leading up to the cliff edge. It’s a lovely, tranquil view and there are great walks on your doorstep. You are a stone’s throw from the sea’s edge at the Stone Quay and all the shops and restaurants etc in the town. The apartment is really lovely with comfortable sofas and beds. The old stone flags on the floors of the kitchen and bathroom are really lovely. Kitchen equipment is good and the cooker is fab. No parking with the flat and you can park on side roads (a bit of a climb) but we paid £33 for a week’s parking in the car park across the road which was hassle free and worth the money. I would highly recommend Conkers.

  This is a ground floor flat in a terrace which has been nicely converted and is reasonably spacious. The location is great, being within walking distance of the town and sea front with amazing views from the front. Although there are double yellow lines on the road out front there was no problem loading / unloading our - it is a very quiet road. We found parking at the top of the road so didn't have to pay for the car park opposite. I don't know whether that would be as easy at the height of the season. The property is equipped with a washer-dryer but no dishwasher. There's an outside rear yard with seating but being February we didn't use that.

  We have just returned from a short break at Lyme Zest.

  It was located in a very quiet area, with views over the town. Everything inside is pristine and spotless. I have never visited a holiday home that is so well equipped. It is difficult to think of anything that we may have needed. There are lots of great bars, pubs and restaurants in the town. We had some great meals. The local beer, Palmers, is very good if that’s your thing! We even went to a concert at the Marine Theatre. It was a very relaxing and comfortable week. As others have noted, the walk back up is steep. We used Eco Cabs, the number is in the binder, who were very reasonable and efficient. We will be back!
