What our customers say about their holidays

A stunning property in a beautiful location. Tastefully and sympathetically modernised inside with ample space and open-plan living. A good-sized space for a large car on the driveway but with parking on road if needed. Good-sized bedrooms (one en suite) upstairs. Kitchen well-equipped with modern appliances. Huge dining table and ample seating plus a large living room with comfy sofas. Fabulous views to rear over Dunwich Marsh, a nature reserve. Large patio area with table and chairs and shared grass lawn to edge of marsh. We spent most of our time on the patio (lovely weather!) and took advantage of the wildlife in the garden and across the marsh. Great views of Marsh Harrier, resident Kestrel and Buzzard plus regular visits to the garden by a Greater Spotted Woodpecker. Barn Owls seen every evening at dusk hunting across the marsh. Wifi good, can't comment on TV reception, didn't use it once, too much going on outside! Dunwich is a very special place with a long and interesting history. The museum is brilliant and worth a visit as are the Ship Inn and Flora Tea Rooms on the beach. Loads of walking from the front door of the house! We barely used the car the whole week. Highly recommended.

First class accommodation in a beautiful area.
The accommodation has been very thoughtfully planned and is ideal for a party of 9 or 10. Super spacious kitchen and dining room, snugly tv room, large relaxing lounge with oodles of space, four beautiful bedrooms all with en-suites, and an upstairs twin bedroom ideal for the kids or teenagers with its own downstairs shower and toilet. Large entrance hall for all your foot ware and a laundry room to keep you clean. Superb design with private well equipped courtyard and games room to keep you amused. My family of three generations could not have asked for more. Add on the brilliant location with multiple walks from your doorstep, a pub and cafe down the road, plus the beach 10 mins walk away makes this place the best ever.

A lovely property, however, it hadnât been cleaned properly, all the floors needed a good hoover and mop.
Some of the toilets needed cleaning has well. The beds all had memory foam mattresses which were not comfortable for all our group, especially those with back problems. The TV room was too small for everybody to sit together and watch a movie The paint peeled in one of the shower rooms straight after a shower No waste bins in the bedrooms The utility room was very small, it was a real struggle to get all the washing out of the dryer The dining table chairs were very uncomfortable to sit on, could have done with cushions or chair pads Itâs a really lovely property, the things listed above, are minor in context. But would have made the stay a lot more enjoyable

What a gorgeous cottage! We loved staying here: Spacious, beautifully decorated, and in a great location. It had even been decorated for Christmas, which made our visit even more special. Fabulous views from the cottage - loved watching the deer and the wildlife each morning. We made the most of being two minutes from the pub and the beach, but it was so easy to have days out and visit the Suffolk coast each day. Excellent, timely and much appreciated communication from the host, which made everything go smoothly. Would highly recommend - we will look to stay here again.

Excellent and luxurious property and very well appointed.
Three small niggles: 1. The window/doors in the kitchen/dining area need safety markings. As the windows extend down to the floor and when the doors are open, it is not easy to tell which is which - especially if you are carrying things. 2. The induction hob is quite a complex piece of kit and unfortunately the instructions for use have gone missing. 3. It is rather annoying that the extractor fan in each bathrooms is operated by the door being opened rather than by the light being switched on.
