  This cottage was lovely - a really lovely quiet retreat for us having had a ridiculous busy year up to June. We really appreciated the well stocked kitchen (with pans etc) and nice equipment plus the lovely space for entertaining had we had a group with us. We alo appreciated that the TV and Satellite worked well and the location was great with two pubs nearby and the deli for buying dinner and lunch essentials. So close to the marshes for birdwatching and you can walk into Southwold via the bridge and back again over the ferry and evening walks on the beach - fabulous. I also recommend the coffee and cakes at the Tea Shack in the main village and the Anchor pub for food. We slept in the annex as this is the biggest room (and the main bedroom is somewhat dark i.e. no much light coming through), but the annex is superb with the doors on to the patio. In all we were able to completely relax and will likely book again.

  The Lodge was perfect for our multi generational family; grandparents, parents and 4 children ages 2, 3 & 7. It provided a wonderful base for exploring Walberswick and the surrounding area. Near to The Anchor pub the Black Dog Deli, small Co-op, tea rooms, gift shops, village green, car parks and ferry. It is tucked away down a small lane so very peaceful. Although the garden is advertised as not being secure we couldn’t find any means for our little ones to escape and the large garden was perfect for them to play in while we watched on from the large well furnished patio. The house with its amazingly large kitchen overlooking the garden and patio is well stocked with everything you might need. There is plenty of parking space, probably could accommodate 5 or 6 cars if needed. We had a magical holiday here, would highly recommend The Lodge and happily return.

  Celebration weekend for my Husbands 50th birthday. The Leveretts is a gorgeous property, Lovely décor and furnishings, great social spaces, fantastic location, fantastic views over the coast. As a group of friends, we had plenty of room to relax and enjoy each others company. Fully stocked kitchen and generous size oven which coped with Christmas dinner for all of us. Great that we could all sit round the dinning table together without a squash. Both lounges have woodburning stoves, kept us lovely and warm. All bedrooms are good size, nice that they all open up onto the balcony, lovely to have coffee overlooking the sea views. Beds reported to be comfortable, nice linen and towels provided. Lovely outside space, love the grasses. Overall lovely property in a quaint village, would visit again.

  Our family (3 generations plus dogs) spent a lovely long weekend at The Lodge. The property is spacious and accommodated all of us very well. It has a great social space for all the family to gather. It is very comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay, we felt very much at home on our holiday. It is in a brilliant location within Walberswick with all amenities within a short walk. It is detached and stands in a large garden making it the perfect spot if, like us, you have a bit of a noisy family! There are plenty of activities for everyone in the area from crabbing to great walks on the beach and the obligatory amusement arcade and pier in nearby Southwold. We would definitely choose The Lodge again for family holidays.

  We love this cottage, so relaxing, well equipped and clean and easy with the grandparents staying too in the annexe. Great enclosed garden for the dog and a short walk to coop and black dog deli for everything we needed. Thank you, we have been before and will rebook again. Really need a second kettle in the annexe. There was one last time but not this time. Would have been helpful for the mature members of our party to have their own team making facilities. We also failed to get the towel rail working in the annexe, the switch may have been in the locked cupboard. Overall though we love it here and will return. Many thanks and also thank you to housekeeping for bringing us spare sheets and towels.
