  Our first stay at the coach house and in Flintshire we normally stay in north wales Snowdonia national park .

  There is plenty to do walks etc close by to lots of places and towns and close to beaches . It’s so quiet and peaceful as I grown up on farms and in the countryside it was so lovely excellent stay . Owners Jen and her mum Pauline friendly and helpful and on hand if you need them. they live in the main big house. Stunning place and views to the sea Jen cleans it her self as I was a high standard lodge cleaner myself it was spotless . The owners thought out lots of things very well thought out with dressing gowns and slipper's and so much more very well equipped.the hamper was amazing never seen one that good before in a wicker basket lots of cereals Jams a milk in the fridge a cake and a bottle of Prosecco very well thought-out and much appreciated . Really enjoyed our stay very comfortable the bed was so good . Excellent big shower . The only downside and criticism I can give is one false advertisement saying it’s got a freezer it’s got a fridge with a ice box inside I don’t class this a freezer time I had put my ice packs inside not much room left to store frozen food so I had to go shopping more offered it was disappointing as I always like to have a freezer and make sure before I book a holiday cottage it has one .we looking forward to going back to the coach house next month .

  Me and my husband stayed here for over 3 weeks recently and we had a lovely time.

  Janet the owner was so friendly and super accommodating throughout sending fresh bedding, towels and anything we needed actually. The cottage is very cosy, situated in the most beautiful surroundings and well equipped with high quality furnishings. Our only small issues (for us) we’re due to our staying longer than average, the sofa didn’t do much to support us. It was hard and really lacked comfort when trying to relax and watch a film. Also the bed is only a double, so sharing that with a man who is 6”1 was a real challenge. We struggled to sleep some nights because there just wasn’t space. That being said we are used to king sized and the bed was super comfy with the begging being high quality. Would be fine for a weekend. Lastly for those who need internet, we did have to buy a dongle because WiFi connection was bad, again that was only because my husband had to work from home, normally its not a problem and Janet did try her best to fix it. Overall we had a great experience and would definitely recommend.

  The owner, Janet was very friendly and accommodating on our arrival.

  We explained we were between moving houses and had quite a few bags in our car. To save cluttering our space with our extra belongings, Janet kindly provided some storage space elsewhere during our stay, this was great as we didn’t have to worry about keeping it in the car either! The accommodation was completely spotless and the kitchen had everything you could need. So much information listed in the information pack provided. The area itself was very quiet and peaceful (day and night) resulting in some great nights sleep. The owners were only a knock (or text!) away if we ever needed anything. The chickens were an enjoyable bonus to simply watch wandering around the garden or sat waiting to greet you by the doorstep. It was also nice to have the unexpected welcome pack with some delicious goodies on arrival too! Thanks again for a great stay

  We stayed here for 4 nights and it was fantastic!

  Janet and her chickens welcomed us upon arrival. There were plenty of resources in the cottage plus welcoming snacks, toilet roll and hand soap etc. We didn’t find the sofa as comfortable as we’d have liked too especially as we rarely left the cottage and were staying a number of nights. We’d have also loved to have a coffee table but did manage without. The chicken’s were very friendly and loved stayed outside the front door. Plenty of parking and given plenty of towels including for the kitchen as well as bathroom. We enjoyed an evening walk as well and looking at the beautiful greenery surround the cottage. The whole cottage was absolutely immaculate and well looked after! It was quiet and didn’t hear cars very often - only the chickens from time to time when they came to visit us. Thank you for a lovely stay! ☺️

  A hidden gem of a property.

  My ideal place. No fuss but everything you need with exceptional quality, taste and attention to detail. Very high quality , immaculately maintained and modern. Peaceful and relaxing stay I have now added this to my favorites and will definitely be back. Hosts are wonderful and friendly and happy to help with anything you need yet very unobtrusive allowing you to enjoy your time there uninterrupted. I loved the little extras left to welcome us and the 3 resident hens visiting everyday for their blueberries which they loved. I would love to live out my days in something as beautiful as this ...here's hoping. Good base for all surrounding excursions too. Southport, ormskirk (market on Sat) Preston, Blackpool to name a few. Thoroughly enjoyed every minute and an absolute bargain too. Overwhelmingly recommended !!
