The charming village of Grasmere is in the Lake District National Park. It is arguably best known as the residence of William Wordsworth, who once referred to it as "The most loveliest spot that man hath found." The Grasmere Gingerbread Shop, where the Wilson family has been producing gingerbread for more than 60 years, must be included in every trip to Grasmere. A variety of stores, pubs, a church that dates to the 13th century, and Grasmere Lake are in the village as well. Every August, Grasmere Sports is held, allowing spectators to witness athletes compete in several sports, including Cumberland wrestling. There are stores, pubs, restaurants, and the Bridge House, one of the Lake District's most famous structures, in the town of Ambleside, which is only five miles from Lake Winderemere. On Lake Windermere, you may go on cruises, boat rides, and engage in water sports. The cities of Windermere and Keswick are also accessible by car.     I'm afraid there is a leak in the shower attachment for bedroom 2 (the one with the bath in the room). It's leaking quite hard, so it's not possible to use the shower.

    The only thing we wanted to mention is that we don’t think the electric charging for the car was working. We tried but couldn’t seem to get it to work. It didn’t affect our stay but just thought you would want to know.
