  Nestled in a tranquil, picturesque setting, this hidden gem offers the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The combination of luxury and nature here is simply unbeatable. The facilities at Southdown Luxury Glamping are second to none. The accommodations was spacious, immaculately clean, and thoughtfully designed to provide maximum comfort. With plush bedding, a cozy wood-burning stove, and a well-equipped kitchenette, it felt like a home away from home—but with a far better view! The attention to detail was evident in every corner, from the tasteful décor to the top-notch amenities that made our stay feel truly luxurious. The private hot tub was an absolute highlight, allowing us to unwind under the stars in complete privacy. The surrounding environment added to the magic. We were completely enveloped by the serene countryside, where the only sounds were the gentle rustling of leaves and the melodic calls of local wildlife. It was impossible not to feel a sense of peace and relaxation, especially when enjoying a morning coffee on the deck. The location is fantastic, offering the best of both worlds—secluded and peaceful yet within easy reach of charming villages and beautiful walking trails. We thoroughly enjoyed exploring the local area, but we also loved returning to our little haven at Southdown, where we felt utterly relaxed and rejuvenated. Overall, Southdown Luxury Glamping exceeded all expectations. It’s the perfect choice for anyone looking to disconnect, recharge, and enjoy the tranquillity of nature without compromising on comfort.   Very rural setting in the village of Misterton.

  Plenty of scenic walks without having to take your vehicle out with you. Would be great for cyclists (we didn't take ours). The views from the lodge are amazing, hardly anything but stunning countryside. The lodge was brand new for our stay (May 2021). It has a very cosy seating area both inside and out, a very usable kitchen. We found we didn't need to pack anything out of the ordinary for our break. The hot tub is great to chill out in and rest your feet after a day of the Great British outdoors! If your thinking of going a bit further afield there is a local taxi company, be warned it's a one man operation so if your used to ordering a taxi and getting picked up in 10 minutes, you may want to pre-book some trips. Malcolm, his name is and he gave us pretty much a guided tour of the area, as he took us out to Bawtry. Would recommend this trip if you can spare a day or evening of your Holiday! There's a full size snooker table and fussball table on site and books and dvds in the lodge if you feel like relaxing on site. The owners where lovely and very helpful, all the best to Michelle and Geoff, you guys did a fantastic job for us!

  Amazing Peaceful Easter Weekend!

  Thank you so much to Michelle and Geoff - I went alone to Buttercup Lodge to 'get off the world' for 4 nights. Honestly, I felt such a sense of peace and was so stress-free, from the first hour I arrived... its just a very quiet, beautiful place.. bunnies and baby bunnies running around every morning on the grass in front of the lodge - very seasonal for Easter! The hot tub was great for 2 afternoons but when the hurricane winds and rain moved in - the log burner inside was even better! All the logs and kindling I needed, and a Prosecco and Lindt truffles left for me to enjoy! Oh and the Easter bunny left me a creme egg too! Everything is EXACTLY as described - ladies, there is a hairdryer if you're wondering and more than enough towels! I will definitely return - its an hour from me but so far removed from city-centre living it could be a different country. I feel lucky to have found it, lodge 3 is being built and the train carriage conversion will be just fab! HUGE thank you to Michelle for being the perfect hostess... I loved it!

  We absolutely loved our stay at Birch View Lodges.

  We booked our mini break for a relaxing get away from the real world for a few days and it was so worth it. The lodge itself was so clean (it was like we were the first people that had ever been in). We had a bottle of proseco in the fridge, along with milk and waters. We were also given fresh bread with jam & marmalade. We felt very spoilt straight away. The outside area with hot tub was great and you are supplied with LOTS of wood. We loved the outdoor space for a bbq and roasting marshmallows in the evening watching the stars. The hot tub was great...very peaceful and relaxing. Michelle was super friendly and helped us with any questions or queries during our stay. We enjoyed several games of snooker in the games room on a rainy day. We loved our stay so much, we have booked again for a birthday and we have family members booking for the other lodges. Would highly recommend!!!

  We were amazed!

  I wanted to surprise my wife for our 10 year wedding anniversary and yes we both were surprised. The setting was beautiful! The accommodation was fantastic! The owners were very friendly, helpful and accommodating. It has lots of supermarkets, a petrol station and pub/restaurant around the area. It is about an hour away from a beach. Where we had a fantastic day out. If we didn't go out we could have a relaxing time in the hottub, play some games (that were provided). Then in the evening light the fire, have a BBQ and relax. We have already recommended to our friends and family and will definitely be booking again. Overall a relaxing, fun and romantic holiday! Thanks for having us. Bonus there was a massive swing for an adult to swing on haha!
