  Plus points - all on one level, shower and bath fantastic, cooking arrangements more than adequate. Location was good and we enjoyed the short walk into the harbour and shops Minus points - images presented made the accommodation look bigger than it was, table, chairs low quality and will need replacing soon. Sofas - two two seaters did expect to find 3 seater sofas especially as property has beds for 5 people and it was a squash with 3 very tall people. Single beds were comfortable but the double was far to hard for me - some will like it others wont It would have been useful to have had more details about the area where to eat, shop etc. we left loads of brochures for future guests to help plan their holiday and get the most out of it. Bit confusing about how to dispose of your rubbish so we improvised. Our holiday was good we enjoyed the holiday and we would certainly visit Portleven again

  A fabulous cottage, extremely clean , cosy living room , nice spacious kitchen and really comfy bed. A couple of minutes walk to the harbour. Porthleven is a beautiful place with lots of lovely places to eat and drink. We had a fantastic time . The corner deli was one of our favourites, their pizzas are amazing. The harbour Inn was good too. Amelies was a bit overpriced for what you get . Don't miss the brass band , they play opposite the harbour inn on Sunday evenings. They are really good. . We spent alot of time wandering around the Porthleven , it's so beautiful, stopping for coffee and ice creams . Look out for the local cat Reggie who always seems to be hanging out by the ice cream parlour . They even sell cards with his picture on . We had a wonderful stay , thank you

  This is our second time staying at quayside, and you can't really get a better constant view in the harbour and location, especially for included parking space too. You get a nice welcome pack and there's nothing I can think of that isn't available to use in terms of utensils. A couple of items(microwave/washing machine) have seen better days and could do with an update. But won't massively affect most customers stay, we have a newborn however so did need those things for clothes and sterilising. That being said we would still return here again and we finally got to see a bit of a storm here in porthleven which is good to watch from the safety of the property.

  The property is in a great location with reasonable sea views. The terrace is great to sit and have a pre-dinner drink, although to make the property more dog friendly it would be good to have it fenced off so we didn't have to keep our dog on the lead. Best shower we've had in a rental property! Great to have a parking spot with the property too. It was only two adults and one dog on our holiday but I think if you had full capacity five adults the sofa area wouldn't be ideal as there are two small two seaters. Being picky there as all in all it is a very nice apartment to come home to after a busy day. Porthleven is absolutely lovely!

  The location of the property was great for the beach etc, although it was very tight parking in the car park. The main issue we had was the extractor vent on the outside of the the ensuite bathroom making a noise all day and all night, keeping us awake. There didn't seem to be a way of stopping it flapping, it was very loud. The other issue was the bed in the main bedroom, it was really hard and uncomfortable. The cleanliness was very good, all the essentials such as dishwasher tablets and washing up liquid provided. Great there was a washing machine which was very useful.
