  Lovely cottage in a great location for all the local dog friendly beaches. The cottage was well equipped and had a lovely homely feel. Plenty of logs for the fire (which we needed, despite it being June). The feathers pub is great and only 15mins walk away, the food is gorgeous. Sunday dinner was amazing. Holme beach is great because it’s not very busy so letting the dog off lead was brill. The White Horse at Brancaster Staithe is another great pub with awesome views. Burnham Market is nice. Wells, Brancaster and Holkham all great beaches too and well worth a visit. The cottage itself was very clean. The beds were really comfy, the shower was good. Ample parking. Coop only 10mins walk away. The garden really secure for your pooch. We’ve got a beagle and if there was anywhere to escape he would have found it. The shed was full of everything for the beach. There were also bikes!! Garden furniture was nice and comfy. On a negative side, there was no welcome pack (first time for us!) and there was only salt and pepper so go prepared. There wasn’t even a dishcloth! We did find foil and toilet rolls though. It’s a shame really or we would have given this a 10/10. Oh just one more thing, the stairs are steep and narrow. I actually tumbled down them one morning, which wasn’t pleasant. So just be aware. I would definitely visit again though, had a fab week!!!

  “Wow what a beautiful flat. Great location for my 88 yr old dad 3 min walk to the pub. Loved the pool table which helped when we had a power cut. called Sam the housekeeper and she got straight onto it. The owner then called to tell me it was a problem in the area but told them i had a vulnerable person so will be fixed within the hour. Which actually only took 30 mins. Such a lovely caring Owner and Housekeeper. Parked the car in the carpark for the week and walked down some steps into the flat. All stone floor and no steps my dad had the onsuite room, he loved the views and was safe to stay whilst my hubby and I went to get papers and shopping which is only 6 mins walk away. Not suitable for wheelchair users unless you can manage your stairs. But a must if you can. Lovely friendly town, would return again.<br /> Beds all comfy and even thought of your privacy as on side windows a one way film was applied, so you can see out but you cannot see in from outside. Brilliant. ”

  We had a great week at 8 Town Close, and we would definitely return in the future. The bungalow felt like home from home; welcoming, very clean & comfortable, with a well-equipped kitchen, very comfortable beds & great showers. There are some great walks from the doorstep, from short to medium & long walks, with our favourite being across Little Hill Park, through Spout Hills and then following the paths to Letheringsett, and returning the same way rather than using the path alongside a fairly busy road. Holt Country Park is only a 20 minute walk away, and then you can follow whichever route signs depending on the amount of walking you want to do. Holt is great to explore with lots of independent shops, cafes & Bakers & Larners department store is well worth a visit, and especially the delicatessen. Both pubs are dog friendly, as are a lot of the cafes. It was a great weeks holiday, made better by having 8 Town Close to come home to in the afternoon and evening.

  “You really can&#39;t fault the location. Amazing panoramic views of the sea and it is just a few steps down to the beach. The proximity to the town centre and convenient parking is a massive bonus. Shops, restaurants and other facilities are just a couple of minutes walk away. The accomodation is simple yet has everything you need. Bedrooms are compact, but big enough. The main appeal however is the large lounge/dining area which is where you&#39;ll want to spend most of your time. The games table (pool, air hockey, table tennis) was appreciated by our children! The kitchen is small but we&#39;ll equipped. Our only issue was the cleanliness. The bath and shower rooms would&#39;ve benefitted from a good scrub. Something that&#39;s easy to solve and I&#39;m sure that this will be addressed in future. That aside, we had a lovely time and I would recommend it to others. The owner was also very helpful and responsive to my questions”
