This was a cottage for 2 & near to Bamburgh, which is where we wanted to stay. Your website is one of the best. The 3D property images are fantastic in helping choice and suitability when booking. This cottage has been equipped with everything you could possibly want or need! The welcome basket was very welcome indeed. It had just the right items to provide a breakfast and some treats to start the holiday. Thankyou. We could not fault this cottage & therefore it is hard to say exactly what we liked best! It was tasteful decorated and extremely well furnished which is something we don’t want to compromise on when we go away. The heating worked well so it was always cosy and warm. This is the first time we have booked with Coquet Cottages and we have been very impressed with how we have been looked after from start to finish. From researching our holiday on the website, to receiving our joining instructions and a very nice courtesy call a week beforehand – everything has been clear and concise and very professional. This cottage was absolutely sublime, couldn’t fault one bit of it, so tastefully furnished and everything we could want. A real joy to stay in it. We stayed with you once before at Throstle cottagein Lesbury and that was just wonderful, and this break in Curlew Cottage was just as wonderful, an absolutely gorgeous cottage, what more can I say, it was just wow!! Absolutely stunning property in a gorgeous location! We were sad to leave! Furnishings are extremely well done, the bed was super comfortable and the views outside were amazing! There were also a fair few walks nearby including one which we did from the end of the lane. It wasn’t too far a drive to get into town and we were lucky enough to be around on a weekend where a local event was taking place in a nearby field to partake in candy floss and watch a bit of Morris dancing! We will definitely be coming back in future and I’ve already recommended the place to just about everybody who will listen. Thanks for providing a home away from home!

When we saw The Old School House on the website we instantly knew we wanted to take our short break there, we could tell from the photo's that it would suit our needs perfectly and we weren't disappointed at all. The house, the setting and the total peace and quiet was all we could ask for. We fully intend to go back. Bury St Edmunds is a short distance away by car. We took part in the Green King Brewery tour which was fascinating. There are lots of nice places to eat in Bury too. We read in the information pack at the house about the walk to a local pub which was tempting but we opted to just stay in and enjoy the endless view.

We had a lovely time celebrating our 5 year anniversary together in Curlew Cottage, which was perfectly spacious for 2. The cottage was very clean when we arrived and a lovely hamper was waiting for us! The parking was super easy with one space and the kitchen was well equipped enough for us to cook a dinner one night. The cottage itself is in a perfect location for shops, restaurants, takeaways and a wide selection of beaches but also is tucked away on a very quiet road. The electric fire was so lovely and really added to the cosiness of the living room. Overall we were so happy with our stay and will definitely be back!
