  The minute we walked in the door we felt at home as we could easily imagine (dream ) of having a place as gorgeous as The Penthouse. It is immaculate, the love the hosts have for the place is evident in every aspect from the great décor, down to the huge selection of plates cooking utensils and glasses that provide the perfect backdrop for whatever is being served or sipped at the dining table or on the balcony overlooking stunning views of the Marina, River Coquet, or the sea. Amble offers wonderful places from fine dining, café bars, real ale to Italian ice cream parlours, all on the doorstep literally. Walks from the door you never need to get in your car. We have already booked 2 weeks in 2020.

  Fantastic company, that we have used before and will use again. Everything is always “high end” and more than worth the price. The Penthouse is absolutely gorgeous with an additional welcome basket by the owner. Both the owner and the parent company took COVID-19 seriously and we felt very safe with our twins! Best rental company and best place we have stayed yet. Highly recommend to anyone who just wants to pamper themselves with both luxuries and location.” All homes on the Coquet Cottages website are extremely nice, with the Penthouse being near or at the top for expense. It is what you pay for, luxury, location, and safety especially during COVID-19.

  The customer service prior to the stay was excellent and all the staff we dealt with at Norfolk Hideaways were friendly, efficient and professional.The cottage was spotlessly clean on arrival. The property was well appointed, cosy and comfortable. The bathroom spacious and good quality linen provided.The cottage was in a great location for exploring the Norfolk Coast, there were plenty of beautiful walks (ideal with the dog) from the door step. Good local pub and village store.The stairs are quite steep, not a problem for us but maybe something to consider for those with mobility issues or children.We had a lovely holiday in a beautiful part of the UK

  Fabulous modern apartment overlooking the harbour! The Penthouse was decorated to a high standard, was very clean and all bedrooms were well laid out with all en-suites, which we were looking for. It was well equipped with everything you would need. The welcome basket was a lovely gesture and was a nice surprise for the other guests. It also let you enjoy some items not normally bought including local produce. The booking of the stay, communication, etc was all perfect. So altogether with our amazing time, we would definitely book with you again and would definitely stay/recommend The Penthouse. Thank you!

  We have had a lovely few days at Bay View.

  It’s a good clean, comfortable base close to the seafront and shops. There is a steep hill to walk back to the flat. Most rooms have a sea view. The living room and conservatory are spacious, the kitchen was well equipped although the shelves in the oven didn’t fit so we’re unusable. The main bedroom is compact along with the en-suite and drawer space is lacking. The twin bedroom upstairs did have drawers as well as hanging space and there was a bigger sized bathroom. Having a parking space is a real bonus. The owner kindly left a cream tea for our arrival which was very thoughtful.
