  What can we say about our beautiful, fabulous, gorgeous Market Square residence in Kirby Lonsdale.

  Beautiful inside and out. So handy it is on the doorstep to walk to Devils bridge, pop out to the lovely shops and eateries around Kirby Lonsdale. This property is home from home. Absolutely adorable. Furnished beautifully. Everything you can think of is to hand. Perfect holiday property. Didn't want to come home. We will definitely be back Vicki. Also Vicki left us complimentary refreshments in the fridge and there is tea and coffee in jars. Outdoor cushions if you wish to sit outside. Market day on Thursday. A lovely welcome surprise to 7A Market Square was a fabulous bottle of prosecco and some Lindt chocolates. We felt totally spoiled and we can't wait to come back. Topclass and highly recommended. We will definitely be back. Beautiful property you must be very proud of Vicki. Thank you for a lovely holiday in the beautiful market town of Kirby Lonsdale. We love it so much we wished we lived there. Thank you sincerely Vicki. You are the best.

  Amazing property, spotlessly clean with lots of little extras that made the stay extra special.

  We stayed as a couple along with my parents, the property was spacious, with everything you could possibly need with lots of local shops, eateries and pubs on the doorstep, it’s the perfect location. The stairs up to the property are a little steep and would benefit from a handrail at the top, but not too much of an issue. The weather was quite cold during our stay and the front bedroom was a little drafty around the window which is to be expected in a property of the age, but the bedding was lovely, warm and very comfortable, as was the lovely fire in the living room. I would highly recommend this property, we are already planning to come back in the summer to make use of the beautiful courtyard/ garden area. The hosts were really helpful, sending through details for parking and check in. Thank you for a lovely stay - 10/10!

  Nice quiet area very close to the main A65 but traffic not noticeable at all.

  Farmers fields directly to the side and rear. Asked at the gym/pool about a day pass and they wanted £25 for 2 hours. You can walk into Kirby Lonsdale but there's quite a section on the A65 with no footpath so it's not pleasant. You can however cross the A65 and walk along a public path across a farmers field (with livestock) into Kirby Lonsdale and all around the smaller villages on quiet lanes. Some nice walking maps of the area on the mantle piece. The house had nice quality bedding and towels. Heating system was a bit of a learning curve but we got it to work. Kitchen is getting a little tired but everything worked. Cleaning was very good in some areas but left a little bit to be desired in others.

  I went for one week and stayed for five!

  The owner is lovely and responsive to queries/questions. Linen and towels were changed weekly and were both good quality. The cottage is spotlessly clean and decor is tasteful and contemporary. Kitchen is really well equipped for cooking with everything you could need. Nice touches were wine and beer and greatly appreciated, also juice, milk and chocolates in fridge on arrival. Sitting room is very comfortable as are beds/bedrooms. In short Kirkby is beautiful. Walking is easy and scenery simply stunning. The outside space with comfortable and spacious seating, just perfect to watch the sun go down with a G&T! If you're looking for somewhere to stay in Kirkby- look no further.

  Lark Meadows is a superb cottage, well equipped, clean and comfortable with a lovely outdoor patio area to sit and enjoy the views.

  We loved returning from a day out and relaxing together as a family; the cottage has a great supply of games and DVDs, and my daughter loved the sofa upstairs in the "snug", it was the perfect place for reading. We have previously stayed on the Meadows in another cottage so we were familiar with the site, it was wonderful to return to the area and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We would highly recommend Lark Meadows as a relaxing base to explore Kirkby Lonsdale town, and enjoy getting out and about around the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales, there's so much nearby to see and do. We would definitely book this cottage again!
