  Myself, husband and dog had a such a great week at Fistral Drift.

  Loved the communication from Jane & Michelle via email & what's app with all the info we needed to access the property and about the surrounding area etc. We parked in the Council car park 5 minutes walk from the property and Jane paid for our weekly Rover permit which was fantastic, permit can be used across other certain car parks but we didn't use our car the whole stay. Garden was lovely, our dog spent most of his time lazing out there & we enjoyed the views across to Fistral Beach from the bench seat! Location was great for us, 10 minute walk to Fistral Beach & coastal path or 10 minutes in the other direction to shops, pubs etc. They have thought of everything in the property, firstly a fabulous welcome pack on arrival which included tea bags, coffee pods, cider, biscuits, chocolate & even dog treats! Also milk in the fridge for us, hand washes, kitchen really well equipped (stayed in many properties where its pretty basic) and the bathroom is lovely with an amazing shower! Honestly they have literally thought of everything at Fistral Drift & I could go on & on so finally will just say I would recommend it to anyone.

  This property would be ideal for a family (two adults and two children) with a dog.

  The decking area was perfect to let our dog out on and the bifold doors were a lovely touch to look out on the stunning bay views. There’s a good amount of room in the living/kitchen area. Great bathroom and decent sized bedroom with a king sized bed. The property was worn out with paint peeling in the bedroom and broken cupboards in the kitchen. The sofa bed was very uncomfortable: you could feel every single spring and slat. During our stay, we could hear every footsteps that our neighbours upstairs made, which made sleeping when they were up and active challenging. It’s in a great location and perfect for our dog but slightly worn and uncomfortable for sleeping more than the two adults.

  The minute we walked in the door we felt at home as we could easily imagine (dream ) of having a place as gorgeous as The Penthouse. It is immaculate, the love the hosts have for the place is evident in every aspect from the great décor, down to the huge selection of plates cooking utensils and glasses that provide the perfect backdrop for whatever is being served or sipped at the dining table or on the balcony overlooking stunning views of the Marina, River Coquet, or the sea. Amble offers wonderful places from fine dining, café bars, real ale to Italian ice cream parlours, all on the doorstep literally. Walks from the door you never need to get in your car. We have already booked 2 weeks in 2020.

  Wow - what an amazing apartment!

  Really well equipped with lots of thoughtful touches, such as a welcome hamper, plenty of hangers and crockery/cutlery. My particular favourite was the light-up make-up mirror. Apartment was a good size, with a super king bed and dual headed shower. Outside space was excellent with outdoor seating, barbeque and a shed with deck chairs. Location good - 5 min walk to Fistral beach and 10 - 15 mins to town centre where there are lots of bars and restaurants to choose from. Communication with Jane, the owner, was faultless with clear instructions on parking and key collection and contact numbers. Also lots of information about the apartment and surrounding area. Would love to stay here again.

  Fantastic company, that we have used before and will use again. Everything is always “high end” and more than worth the price. The Penthouse is absolutely gorgeous with an additional welcome basket by the owner. Both the owner and the parent company took COVID-19 seriously and we felt very safe with our twins! Best rental company and best place we have stayed yet. Highly recommend to anyone who just wants to pamper themselves with both luxuries and location.” All homes on the Coquet Cottages website are extremely nice, with the Penthouse being near or at the top for expense. It is what you pay for, luxury, location, and safety especially during COVID-19.
