  A really beautiful property in the equally beautiful setting of the Holkham estate. The apartment was on the first floor so has lovely views and was cosy and warm. Very good range of coffee table style books left for us to read, a TV and a few board games. Spotlessly clean and modernized inside. All the equipment you would need for a short stay and reasonable storage. The bedroom vanity area had a mirror and plugs in all the right places for hairdryer etc. Very comfy bed but a bit short for a tall husband! The kitchen was well equipped with good quality items including an air fryer, coffee machine and microwave. The Holkham toiletries were from Holkham estate and really lovely. The owners also left a parking permit for the estate and a discount card for the shops. There was a wine shop behind the property which had a huge range and also gifts, and the country outdoor wear shop was equally well stocked with good quality items. Plenty of secure parking around the properties. The Victoria opposite is lovely although we didn't visit on this occasion we had been before and recommend it. Holkham beach is only a short walk down the road too. We would definitely consider staying in one of the properties again when in Norfolk and would recommend this property.

  Cottage in a great location for visiting many different places. We had lots of walks and spent many hours on local beaches. Felbrigg Hall a great place to have a walk and visit the walled garden. Recommend Brownes on Bond Street, Cromer and The Tea Shop at The Corner House, West Runton for great breakfast and lunches, both had lovely friendly staff. The Heydon is spotlessly clean and well equipped. We swam in the pool everyday, twice some days. The booking system works well, It was so nice to have exclusive use of the pool during our booked times. Thank you for the welcome gifts, we enjoyed our time here and are already saying 'Next time...'

  Lovely cottage with everything we needed. clean and well kept with such a calm view. Central location was perfect for visiting the broads with prefect sun and wind for sailing.Hardly a sole about for our beach walks and on the Broads. The swimming pool was the draw for us and we used it at least once a day, mostly twice. Going home a pair of fitties and feeling better for it!(the acoustics were fantastic!)Recommend the rea tea at the old hotel at Overstrand and Martham boatyard for a half decker, also east Ruston gardens amazing!Will be back, thank you.

  Just to let you know that we are going to try to dodge bank holiday traffic back up to Yorkshire so plan on (reluctantly) leaving later this evening, so the cleaners will be free to enter at any time in the morning. We’ve had a super time and Tide Cottage is possibly the nicest holiday rental we’ve stayed in. Super, well equipped kitchen, comfortable, beautifully decorated, lovely outside space, peaceful road & village. We did unfortunately break an egg cup- it got knocked out of the cupboard onto the floor accidentally. Apologies!

  We needed a well earned break, and peace and quiet which we have certainly got. Pool glorious and system works a treat nice relaxing swim! Easy commute to all areas, this place is a hidden gem! We wanted sun adn boy did we get it. Well stocked kitchen, easy to use. Bed a little on the firm side. We acquired some kitchen tongs which were useful. Overall a thoroughly enjoyable stay.A note from the owners;"Thank you for your review. There are now two mattress toppers on the bed and we have left an extra new topper in the wardrobe."
