  “We had a fabulous long weekend at Bramble Cottage in Sheringham. The cottage is in a fantastic location for all the local attractions and facilities. Shops, pubs, restaurants and the railway are all only a short walk away. There is a lovely park across the road and lots or walking trails, perfect if you have a dog with you. The cottage itself is great, small, but everything you need. The stairs are steep and the steps are narrow. OK to go up, but coming down could be a challenge if you have mobility issues. For this reason, I personally wouldn&#39;t recommend the cottage for small children. Also note that the garden is not immediately accessible from the property, you need to walk across the parking space. Therefore, you cannot just open the door and let the dog out or let children play unattended. The cottage is also on a busy main road. I would also note that there can be problems driving out of the allocated parking space as vans parked along the road can restrict the view, so caution is required coming out onto the main road.<br /> However, none of those things were major issues and we had a great time. ”

  “We had stayed in a couple of these flats back around 1990 with family members who are no longer with us. Therefore a lot of nostalgia and happy memories. Did not disappoint. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen well enough equipped. There was a cold wind so we spent much of the time in the flat looking at the sea through the lovely windows with occasional trips out along the prom. Had we wanted to go out and about it was a great location and we had our own parking space partly under cover. The small bedroom is small with one bed. Our son is 6&#39;5&quot; so the room was a little small for him but for one week, hardly an issue. The microwave looked at first sight like something off the bridge of an aircraft carrier and was difficult to work out how to do basic tasks. If you are doing it every day OK, but for odd occasions on holiday it was a bit too much. My husband much appreciated the dishwasher. The cooker was fine and clean. On balance, a lovely property, probably most appropriate for adults rather than children. I do not remember seeing any games etc but we did not look.”

  “We have exclusively rented Key&#39;s Properties in the town since 1990 but, apart from day visits, this was the first time we had stayed on holiday there for 15 years and Key&#39;s and especially Vista Court was our first choice. We were lucky to get a booked due to a full booking sheet but glad we did.<br /> Vista court has great open views and is ideal to watch the sunsets. No 10 is on the first floor with car parking below. Access via concrete steps which would not be suitable for the very elderly or less abled<br /> High pressure hot water is very good although a bit too strong. Kitchen very well equipped and plenty of cutlery, plates, glasses, etc. dishwasher, fridge freezer.<br /> The over bath electric shower is good. Lighting OK but could be improved. Small bedroom actually has two beds in it not one as advertised but still adequate space.<br /> Good sized balcony to sit out in warmer weather!<br /> ”

  “Having read recent reviews we were very concerned about our return visit to this cottage. So we were pleased to find the shower rail has been fixed, the grouting redone - and the cleaners have definitely &lsquo;upped&rsquo; their game. Crockery and under the sink cupboards have been tidied since our last stay. There still remains an issue of damp and fusty smell from under the sink cupboard. This could partly be solved by a drip tray next to the sink. The sofa is not very comfortable, but the beds are. It is a cozy cottage, adequately equipped for a self catering holiday for two. The log burner is a bonus. The location is superb, and it is the location that draws us back each year. Less than 5 minute walk to the Sheringham Little Theatre - and shops. We are going to tick the recommendation box - but it is a compact property, with some issues so would not suit everyone. ”
