  Lovely quirky cottage (we stayed in pilgrims prospect) beds very comfortable and had all amenities in cottage that we needed including many TV channels. Even a well thought out welcome basket of treats! Cottage was ideally placed for our dog with a fenced garden directly outside our door, although shared with pilgrims chase, but this never caused a problem. Location of cottages is a short stroll along the lane to the expanse of bacton beach which again was perfect for dog walks. The pool area was fantastic with lovely heated pool and showers, and although each cottage is allocated 1 and half hour slot of exclusive use each day, the manager Maxine was very approachable and accommodating to change our pool times to suit us! The added bonus of a small but nicely equipped games room with pool table/air hockey and a football table and video game machines was great for our teenaged son.

  We loved the little barn and found it such a pleasing place to stay in. We kept finding new clever things which had been done. It was very comfortable and very peaceful indeed and the information was all at hand. We are both very elderly and some of the modern equipment needs puzzling out. We know N.Norfolk well, loved the primrose banks and the newly ploughed fields. Sadly our families were very worried about us with the coronavirus and we decided to leave 2 days early to calm them down... I think back on Wheelwrights barn with sadness and wonder in these hard times! So sorry we did not manage to set the alarm when leaving - but I did tell you as soon as we got home.   This was an absolutely delightful find! Tucked away in the small hamlet of Sustead, off the beaten track, Wheelwright proved to be the perfect getaway for us and our dog! The barn was decorated and furnished to the highest of standards and the enclosed courtyard was a great addition for the dog! You do need to have a car in order to get out and about to explore the surrounding countryside and beaches, of which there are many. Also bring the daily supplies you need, as the nearest shop is a good ten minute drive away. It worked so well for us, we had a super relaxing week, walking and chilling. And the barn added to this beautifully.

  We had a cosy, magical Christmas week at Gable End. Everything was as we'd hoped for and more. The cottage is beautifully decorated and equipped and felt like home from home - the perfect way to celebrate Christmas and explore the local area with lovely walks with our dog. We love Norfolk and would love to return to your delightful cottage another season soon. With many thanks. All the best wishes for 2025!   Lovely cottage in an amazing location. We have has a most enjoyable holiday and the wildlife is stunning. We've had small deer in the front garden, early morning and seen owls flying over the fields behind the cottage at dusk. Add to that lovely garden birds, including a beautiful little wren, hares anf a stag down the lane and a huge fox in the garden on our last night and it makes sense that we will be back. Thank you for providing such a well-equipped cottage, we've looked for nothing.
