  We were looking for a short break to simply get away and chill in a quiet location and this property was ideal. Going anywhere in the UK in late February will always be a lottery regarding the weather and we had a couple of days rain but it didn’t spoil the holiday. Waking up to the superb views every morning and simply sitting and reading a book overlooking the Cove was a tonic irrespective of the season. You have picturesque walks including a short coastal walk into Brixham, which is lovely and quieter than other parts of Torbay. The upside to staying here in low season was the solitude, many of the neighbouring properties were empty plus the location of Osprey 1 at the far end of the site bordered by woodland reduces passing footfall and affords privacy. Even in summer this would be the quietest apartment. The property has a large terrace with furniture, great natural light due to the full width of glass across the lounge and main bedroom. It was clean, comfy, very well equipped with modern appliances and kitchen equipment and has wall mounted TVs in every room, with Sky available in the lounge. The site is secure, clean and well maintained. Instructions for entry and information was clear and helpful. We initially found this property on Airbnb but then found it cheaper booking directly through the agency who were easy to deal with, informative and prompt in responding. Overall a great holiday in a superb location with unspoilt views you will never tire of.

  Excellent apartment with a fantastic location. We stayed as a family with 2 kids, 13 and 8 and whilst we did find the actual apartment a little small at times, the external facilities made up for this. The walks to Fishcombe cove and Churstone Cove were pretty easy and the views once there were magical, esp early in the morning before they got busy. There is a cafe at Fishcombe cove which is really handy but be warned that they do play loud music at night which was a little annoying at times, as does the holiday park bar behind the property. The swimming pool was a big bonus, with heated water, it was really handy on cooler winder days when we couldn't go to the beach. All in all, a great apartment in a wonderful location. We will def consider returning.

  This was our first visit to the Cove, but not the last. Beautiful apartment, with everything you need for your stay. It was well kept, and very clean. The outdoor patio was very spacious, and the view was amazing. We saw seals and dolphins in the bay, most days we were there. It was a very relaxing place to be. We would love to come back to Osprey 1, perhaps later in the summer. The only two suggestions i would like to make are, a more powerful shower, and if the two sofas had been bigger,would have made them much more comfortable. Overall, we had an amazing, and much needed holiday at the Cove, can't wait to return. Thankyou to everyone involved, from the booking team, the cleaners, and management team.

  The apartment was superb. Very well decorated, superbly equiped, great location with lovely sea views particulary from the balcony and in a great location. A pleasant walk down to the habour and a regular bus to take you back up the hill with a stop right outside the entance. The apartment had a very comfortable and spacious lounge and a superb kitchen seperated from the lounge with a divider. The bedroom was also big with ample wardrobes with loads of hangers a plenty of shelves for a lond stay. The bathroom was a good size with a bath with a shower and always plenty of piping hot water. I strongly recommend this apartment as absolutely ideal for a couple. A real home from home.

  The property was in a great location with easy access to the nearby coves and a 10-15 minute walk to Brixham. However considering the cost of a weeks rental I would have expected a better interior, especially the main bedroom which relied on slatted blinds rather than black out curtains which due to the location meant that the sun was shining into and lighting up the room at the crack of dawn. Having stayed in various properties along the Devon/Cornish south coast I think that there are better properties out there for the same or even lower price and which provide better facilities.
