  I have published this review on Google maps as a local guide: Absolutely fantastic place to stay.

  The beautifully decorated pods are clearly a labour of love for the owners Jo and Sion who were also really friendly and helpful during our stay. They have everything you need from the basics like cooking equipment, towels etc to the not so basic like local guide maps, LED candles for romantic evening and nice thoughtful touches like leaving a torch hanging by the door for if you need to go out at night. They are also awesome for the modern traveller like me and my wife with USB ports for phone charging, WiFi, Amazon fire TV and even built in voice assistant (Fantastic for getting your favourite music playing for cooking and relaxing!). The views behind the pods are stunning and worth a wander out to with your morning coffee. The grounds are nice to wake up to and have hammocks which are lovely on a nice day. They are a little intimidating to get to first attempt (a small price to pay for having such a secluded retreat) but my advice is believe Google maps even when you start thinking "this can't be right"!   Absolutely fantastic lodge.

  Spotlessly clean, well maintained and was equipped with absolutely everything we needed and more. So many personal touches such as the selection of DVDs, numerous games such as connect 4, playing cards, tennis racquets, cricket set, things in the kitchen which covered every scenario. Picnic? Check. BBQ? Check. Tea coffee and condiments with a more than ample amount of crockery? Check. Modern oven and temperature controls for every room. Very fast Wi-Fi. If I had to be extremely picky and criticise one thing the doors are virtually impossible to close quietly after getting young children to sleep. The location is superb. Just a couple of miles away from all of Pembrokeshire’s main attractions. The estate is served by an ample car park which even has an old phone box that has been converted into a library, tennis court, small children’s play area and fields of fun for dogs and people alike. The village of Kilgetty is a few miles away with a supermarket (Co-op) Indian, Chinese, Pizza/Kebab shop etc that will all deliver to the lodge. 10 out of 10.

  Owl cottage was perfect for our first visit to Anglesey. Centrally located on the island it was ideal for exploring but was also tucked away in a little corner of paradise created by the owner Andrew. Perfect for a dog friendly holiday we only had to step out of the cottage and there was an idyllic lake walk on our doorstop. The cottage itself was very cosy with a wood burning stove and well equipped kitchen. We were very fortunate with the weather and so were able to enjoy morning coffee or afternoon tea sitting outside, listening to the birdsong. Andrew was on hand to help with anything that cropped up and to offer invaluable advise as to the best beaches to visit and places to eat. All in all we had a great week at Owl Cottage, were sad to leave and will definitely return.

  We have had a lovely stay at the cabin.

  It was spotlessly clean when we arrived and although it was cold outside it got cosy inside really quickly with the fire in the living room. The beds were comfortable as was the modern living room furniture. The owners had provided everything we needed including instructions for using every single appliance, dog treats, bird seed for bird watching and a thoughtful pack of biscuits, butter and milk for our arrival. The Wi-Fi in the cabin was brilliant and our kids spent the week happily connected. The enclosed veranda was stocked with a BBQ and pizza oven which would have been great to use when warmer weather. The text and call from the owners before our stay also made us feel very welcome. Would highly recommend and hope we can return one day. Thanks Phil and Jackie

  Absolutely gorgeous!

  ! Cozy, immaculate and very comfortable. Pod was equipped with everything we needed for our stay with lovely touches everywhere. The small space was very well thought through through accommodating comfortable bed, extendable sofa, log burner and kitchen area..(the shower cabin could have been slightly bigger, being over 6ft tall, we both struggled a bit but it has not compromised our stay) Outside space was great for our dog to play safely. Great walks nearby and a short drive away. Jo was lovely and accommodating and nothing was a problem, we felt welcomed and well looked after!! Welcome pack on arrival as well as pod being set up with and pre-heated was much appreciated. We have had a great time and will definitely book again! Thank you Anna + Tom & Luna
