  The best holiday in Norfolk we've had yet! Thank you for letting us stay in your wonderful cottage. The weather has been fabulous! The Norfolk Coast Path walks are a must - we loved the walk from the door to Holkham Hall (lunch at The Victoria was superb, as usual), and The Hero at Burnham Overy Staithe. Our best meal at this holiday was at The George & Dragon in Cley-next-the-Sea. All the shops and pubs are dog friendly as always. The morning walk from the house to Stiffkey Store along the coastal path was beautiful. The cakes, pastries and sourdough as delicious as always. Jumping on the Coast Hopper bus to return makes all these walks easy. Lovely pottery from Made in Cley. Delighted to have booked for next October already! The dogs definitely didn't want to leave!   Beautiful house, brilliantly located. Have had the most fantastic week exploring the delights (particularly culinary) of North Norfolk. Love North Norfolk Cellars (the Chandlery) round the corner, Caroline at The Red Lion, Stiffkey is a lovely warm hostess (am amazed this walk is done with toddlers in tow!) The Old Bank bistro in Snettisham is excellent for a celebration dinner (tasting menu). Have enjoyed all the wildlife; the birds, jellyfish on the beach, toad on our walk to Stiffkey. A juvenile black bird flew into the kitchen and got quite stressed trying to find its way out. Wondering if there is a way to mark the glass for birds without spoiling the view? Thanks.

  This house is beautifully situated for exploring this lovely part of Norfolk whilst also providing a beautiful garden when sitting and doing nothing is the preferred activity. the things we have enjoyed area walk to Wells beach then on to Holkham Hall and back through the estate to Wells. A coffee in Stiffkey stores. using the coast hopper bus to explore - and avoid having to negotiate the traffic in bottlenecks of Stiffkey and Cley. Literally let the bus take the strain! Also - a walk along the coast path to Wareham for lunch. Also recommend going to watch the fishermen unload their catches at high tide.

  We had a lovely stay at Orchard Cottage over New Year. We were a party of 8 with 4 adults, 4 kids and 2 dogs and all loved it. It’s not ultra-modern but has such a lovely cosy and homely feel that we all felt settled and relaxed pretty much straight away. One big plus is that there are two living rooms and one quickly became the "kids den" for them to watch movies and play video games. It’s a lovely family home and in a great location. It’s just a few minutes walk into Wells and a few mins to a good pub (Bowling Green Inn) and a Co-op too. We loved it and would be very happy to return.

A very comfortable and well-equipped apartment. The Christmas tree and the Christmas treats were much appreciated. The new sofa and chair are very comfortable.
