  Initially when we arrived we were taken back by how lovely the environment and the area of the cottage was in.

  However it then came to light that you were not allowed to leave your pets in the cottage unattended, which was not on the listing (had it of been we would have booked elsewhere) We found the whole experience intrusive with the lack of privacy and the handyman/ owners mate (so he says) interpreting our stay most days. The property gives a feel that it is being run like a hotel and that is not what we were looking for. On the 3rd Night another party arrived to stay in the adjacent cottage and that was the straw that broke the camels back, they where in the rear of their cottage in the early hours shouting laughing and very drunk, waking us up at 0300am and not going quite until gone 0530am. This made us realise how close the other property’s were to us and again this was not mentioned in the listing. We left earlier because we could not stay there anymore because of the fore mentioned issues. All I can say if you want a nice place to stay that’s a slightly nicer environment than Butlin’s then book here your love it. I will not be going back.

  Lovely cottage, absolutely spotlessly clean on arrival.

  Thoughtful touches of a goody bag of treats for us and treats for our Westie. Everything you could need for a self catering holiday but there are a few things which could be improved upon. Not enough hanging space for clothes and the size of the drawers in the chest of drawers in the bedrooms were not of a good size for storing clothes in. Only good enough for socks, underwear etc. Internal doors need oiling as very squeaky. Nowhere in bathroom to place items. Didn’t really want to place them on the toilet and surrounding area. Not very hygienic. Just a couple of extra shelves would be great. Wash basin was way too small as you could not fill it with a lot of water as it spilt over the side and onto the floor. Boiler system noisy. Would recommend family and friends to stay here without any doubt. Treesoth Cottages is a great location very quiet and peaceful and ideally located for visiting other areas in Cornwall.

  Avery well appointed cottage and we enjoyed our stay.

  The onsite staff were helpful and very amicable. The master bedroom bed was very tired and could do with replacement. It had the W effect with a high ridge in the middle. There was a problem with the middle bedroom ensuite shower where the shower thermostat was predominantly cool and erratic. This we mentioned to the staff on site. We just used another shower for the week. All in all a great stay in a lovely cottage we may return in the future. One criticism is I wasn't happy that a dog was in the pool area. I feel that this is inappropriate in that enviroment especially as we had children in our party. Even though the dog was on a lead, its just not right. I am also a dog lover but would never dream of having a dog in a gated pool area.

  Manacles 2 bed cottage at Tresooth Cottages where we stayed was perfect and very clean.

  Beds were big and comfy & both en-suites being ideal. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and very friendly. The owners have done a fantastic job refurbishing the cottages and thought of everything. We didn’t have a hot tub but used the communal one & the sauna too. This area was clean & tidy. Also had a game of pool, table tennis & table football which was a well kitted out area with a collection of books to borrow & read. Also had no problems with the WiFi. Our only regret was not booking for 2 weeks or more!! Would certainly recommend Tresooth Cottages for anyone who loves a rural setting. Would certainly return again ..

  A lovely two bedroom cottage in a small development of other holiday properties of different sizes.

  The cottage was well equipped it is due for refurbishment but is just a little dated currently and certainly did not stop us and our dog Millie from having a fabulous stay. The on site swimming pool was a lovely extra and the shared hot tub was always warm. We went to stay outside the school holidays and the area was quiet but it may be a bit noisier and busy by the pool during the summer. All areas were kept very tidy. The cottage is close to two lovely pubs the Red Lion and the New Inn food was great and staff friendly at both. Would definitely recommend to couples and families hoping to visit again soon.
