This is the most gorgeous little cottage in the middle of nowhere but actually quite close to the Suffolk Coast and Snape. It looks as though it had recently been refurbished and is very well appointed in the kitchen. We loved our stay here and enjoyed the area so much. It’s one of the best small holiday cottages we have stayed in for a long time. Very restful and super cute. The bedrooms and bathrooms were lovely and the whole place had a lovely feel about it. We will certainly be going here again.

We booked this accommodation as we were attending a wedding at the country club that our son was not invited to. This was perfect location next door meaning our son could be on site with his grandparents while we were at wedding but still close by to check on him. Perfect location in a stunning place. Easy access to beach was great with our son. And lovely walks from the doorstep. The car was only used once during our week stay.

Lovely to be in the real countryside. Spent lots of time on the porch listening to the jackdaws and rooks coming home to roost. Hare spotted not far away. Walked to Snape Maltings watching the light on the grasses. Went to Helmingham Hall gardens - dogs welcome - and fed fallen apples to their herd of deer. On the last night we sat on the porch and heard a Tawny owl calling - we even saw bats later!

We have had a succession of cottages that we have been disappointed with. This one however was not the case. It is spacious, comfortable, heating on demand, plenty of fire wood for the stove. ( Not usually the case ). We felt that we were more than just paying customers. The location was for us ideal, with walks from the from the door. The two wheel barrows are a nice touch!

The house is even better than on the photos because of the quality of the furnishings and the peaceful surroundings. We enjoyed the perfect peace and the feeling that we were in the heart of the countryside, yet we were only a short drive away from excellent food suppliers, The Maltings for concerts and the coast.
