  The cottage was exactly as was described in the holiday particulars, it was very clean and very well equipped.

  The location was perfect, not right in the town and just a few minutes walk from the town centre and the sea. It was very quiet and I slept very well as did my little Shih Tzu, we had some lovely walks along the promenade and Crescent Gardens which are both very beautiful. Plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby and a lot of them are dog friendly. The little museum opposite Ebenezer Terrace is well worth a visit and also just across the road is a little café where dogs are very welcome where they serve homemade cakes and various other meals. I did not realise until my last day that there is a country park nearby and also a beautiful St Oswalds church which dates back to the 1800s, all these places are within a few minutes walk. So as you can tell I was very pleased with my holiday and Filey is a lovely little town so I would certainly recommend it to my friends and would visit again.

  Posatives Very comfortable property.

  Very clean and warm, owners had set heating for our arrival. Tesco only a few hundred away. Property very central to everything Owners text us to say property was ready. Property close to beach and county park. Owners had left milk,cookie's. Property was well supplied with everything toilet rolls cleaning products, Tea towels,bath towels,bedding. Negatives Parking facilities poor. Staircarpet needs replacing, gripper was showing and dangerous had to cover. Living room rug needs replacing,very dirty. Mould in several places, bathroom ceiling was bad.This was particularly bad do to me having fibrosis of lungs.The one rule with this disease is no mold. Living room near window and some wall paper starting to come away in places.

  Ideal cottage to experience what Filey has to offer.

  The only negative- and it is on the description- is no dedicated parking. Whoever saying that for our duration we were able to park within 50 metres easily roadside. The cottage was both comfortable and clean with everything necessary for the stay. The bedding and beds were very good quality as were the supplied towels. Extras such as washing liquid, dishwasher tablets and washing tablets were also supplied- a real nice touch. Quiet but quirky area within 5 min easy walk to the sand and 3 minutes flat walk to the town centre. We will definitely return

  A lovely, cosy cottage in the heart of Filey and within walking distance to the shops, restaurants, pub and beach.

  The area was very quiet and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cottage was well stocked with everything we needed and very clean. The seaside towns of Scarborough and Bridlington not far away either, so plenty to do and see. The cottage was dog friendly and our dog got lots of nice walks in the local country park which is beautiful with a small cafe and also walks along the beach. We also got some warm, sunny weather as well as some rain, so that was a bonus. We will definitely visit again.

  A delightful cottage and prepared perfectly for our visit.

  The location is great for all amenities and access down to the promenade and beach. Great area for exercising the dog off a leash five minutes walk away at the country park over the bridge. Pubs, restaurants and takeaways close to hand and the big supermarket in easy walking distance. Filey is a really nice resort, but small, so be prepared for parking issues in the town as it is a magnet for day trippers even late into the season on a pleasant day.
