House is located at the end of the row of properties. Very quiet location despite being just off one of the main roads into/out of Wells. We didn’t use the garden area as being at the end of September the garden was in shade mostly, however in the height of summer I am sure it would be lovely as the property overlooks fields and there was plenty of bird song going on as well as the various geese flying over. Downstairs is spacious and the living room is just right for chilling out and the dining/kitchen and utility area was well designed with everything you needed. The bedrooms were slightly on the small side (had to step sideways to get into and out of bed however having a larger comfy bed made up for this. Overall, this house was brilliant for our family get together.

What can I say - what a fantastic experience staying here. We were greeted by Christine who was very lovely and made us feel incredibly welcome. Upon arrival - we received a hamper full of really nice goods, which was a very lovely touch to our stay. The bed - I would say it was one of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept in. The location is so central and a very quick walk to the local pubs/restaurants as well as the high street, including the quay. I can’t recommend this place enough. Me and my partner wish we booked for an extra night as one night here wasn’t enough! Would 100% stay here again when in the area.

We recently stayed here for one night and what an absolute gem of a hideaway. Not only the location, just a five minute walk away to the harbour, but also the accommodation…I have never stayed anywhere so quaint. Although the hut appeared seemingly rather cosy, the bed opens up to the size of a double and was ultra comfy. There was also everything you could need inside…including a fantastic goody basket. Many thanks to Christine for showing us the inside to her house and enlightening us on the fantastic story behind it. The entire trip was incredible and would thoroughly recommend.

Another fantastic week in this amazing house with breathtaking views. Weather on the whole fantastic. Visited many of our usuals; crab cafe (twice), The Globe (sadly, service not up to its usual standard) and Bang! (amazing!). The house never fails to impress - my only recommendation is a set of pasta bowls for that staple spaghetti bolognese for those meals 'back at the ranch'. Once again. thank you for an amazing week, thank you for the weather, the gorgeous suntrap garden and as always a spotless and welcoming house. God bless.
