  Smugglers was such an easy and comfortable cottage to stay in very clean and lovely decor. The location is beautiful - nestled on a little lane in some woodland - less than ten minute walk to the beach/ shops/cafes etc and so close to the coast route. There’s a nice back lane and footpath walk to Mithien - for a visit to the Miners Arms pub which is worth a visit. There is also a good bus service in the area there’s an app called first bus which shows bus times and nearby bus stops - it just makes catching buses so simple when your in a new area and it was nice to catch a bus to both Newquay and Porthreath and then walk the coast paths back in either direction. The garden was lovely and it was really helpful to have a washing machine and washing line to hang up damp wetsuits etc. it is a narrow lane up to the cottage we drove up in a VW golf and that was fine. There is an electric charging point for cars if needed which we didn’t use but it’s useful thing to access for electric or hybrid car users. The Wi-Fi is good and easy to log into. Perranporth was such a good base for coast walks, beach days and either eating in the cottage or going out for meals.. I can’t say enough good things about it. It’s just a really lovely place to stay.

  The property as amazing in a beautiful location, 15 minute walk to the beach, longer coming back due to being uphill but we all enjoyed the walk.

  We went exploring the surrounding area a few times, walking to the Cligga Head Wolframite Mine site as the sun was setting made for some amazing views. We ate out at a few of the local options, "The Waterfront" (topped fries to die for), "No.4 Breakfast and Bistro" (we went for an amazing evening meal) and "The Cove" (for breakfast) and none of them disappointed, all served delicious food, with smiling, friendly staff .We would definitely return to Sandpiper with the only downside for us being the lack of garden furniture which meant when we had BBQ's we had to carry the food back upstairs to eat around the table, other than that Sandpiper was perfect.

  Fantastic property in a great location.

  Spotlessly clean. Would highly recommend to others and would definitely stay again. Very minor recommendations for improvements are... 1) perhaps some clothes pegs to be provided for the line in garden 2) a couple of decent chopping boards (one for veg/fruit & the other for meat). What was provided (some flexible plastic sheets) were not really adequate. In fact they look identical to the place mats and as such were placed in the drawer with them, so we couldn't find them initially. 3) some additional hand towels per person would be nice, especially for the people using the shared bathroom.

  Great location and house with more than expected home comforts. Lovely touches such as basics of coffee & tea, washing liquid, dishwasher stuff etc. Perfect for heading into Perranporth for beach days or further field for exploring Cornwall. Definitely a tight squeeze up the lane - we managed with our large Tesla Y though (& so easy to be able to charge!) We did a Sainsbury’s delivery, but just met at the bottom of the lane as no chance of a van getting up to the house! The weather wasn’t good enough for enjoying the garden, but looks a perfect spot for evening drinks outside!

  This property ticked all our boxes.

  The situation was spectacular, it was comfortable (the beds especially), it was well equipped, warm and a lovely space which we shared with our family (ages ranging from 73 down to 12). As surfers and body boarders the outside "shower off " was brilliant. This was our first time in this property and entering it for the first time we were greeted by a clean, well maintained and clearly loved home as was evident by all the sea themed touches. We really hope to return. Thank you. Jane
