This charming Cornish terraced cottage in St Ives is perfect for families or friends looking for a peaceful holiday by the sea. Located away from the town’s hustle and bustle and yet within 350 metres of beautiful beaches and the harbour, you have the combination of natural beauty, a fishing harbour, galleries, eateries, and water sports on your doorstep. You can enjoy various outdoor activities, such as surfing, hiking, and fishing, or relax and soak up the sun on one of the local beaches.
This light and airy property, set over two levels, has retained much of its character, and has a coastal theme, tones, and contemporary comforts. This welcoming cottage has window seats, exposed beams, wooden floorboards, and stylish interiors. The inviting lounge has cosy seating and a Smart TV to watch your favourite show after a day on the beach. The spacious dining room boasts high ceilings and exposed beams, perfect for a celebratory meal, catching up with friends or playing a game of cards. The kitchen has everything you need to whip up some tasty treats. Upstairs you’ll find a shower room and three bedrooms - one super-king-size, one double and one single. Although the property has no external space, access to the beach is 350 metres away.
Walkers will love having access to the South West Coast Path, and the views when walking out to Clodgy Point are well worth the effort. In the other direction, walk along the beaches passing Carbis Bay (1.5 miles) to Porthkidney Beach (3 miles). For a day away from the coast, the kids will love Paradise Park and Jungle Barn (5 miles). Head south to the opposite coastline, and in less than 10 miles, you will reach Marazion Beach with spectacular views of the iconic St Michael’s Mount.
