  This is our fifth stay at Bay Cottage and once again we have loved every minute.

  As well as the great facilities including the pool, gym, arcade and brilliant pub, it is a great base for exploring up and down the beautiful North Yorkshire coast. Scarborough and Bridlington are only 20 minutes away and Whitby only 40 minutes' drive. Filey beach really is fantastic and we have had lots of lovely walks with the dog over the golden sands. The cottage itself is always spotlessly clean and perfectly equipped for our family of four. The welcome basket is such a lovely treat on arrival. The bedroom and bathrooms are spacious and comfortable and the cosy lounge-diner is perfect for our family time spent indoors. We have stayed in other cottages at The Bay but nothing comes close to Bay Cottage for comfort, cleanliness and facilities. We wouldn't stay anywhere else and cannot wait to come back in the autumn.   The bay is fabulous, so clean and tidy we will deffo go back.

  The cottage was just like photos however the bathroom has issues, shower pipe has holes in so the water comes out in different directions, the shower head needs replacing as the holes are blocked, and the plug hole is blocked so when you have a shower it’s like you’re having a bath. I have fed this back to the owner directly. The rest of the property was spot on! The single beds are full of springs and not comfy at all however I’m told the larger bed was very comfy. When we arrived the travel cot was all made up, the fresh bed linen and towels all laid out. All facilities in the property worked, TV was fab, kitchen well equipped, heating worked and the property was very warm and cosy.

  This cottage was the best cottage we have stayed in.

  Absolutely gorgeous decor throughout. Since photos taken, new furniture and flooring. Everything needed for the perfect stay available. Amazing thoughtful welcome pack, including treats for our dog. So cozy and warm and so near all the amenities on site. Parking space opposite the cottage too. Friendly owners getting in touch before and after our visit. First time we have visited The Bay resort. Ideal place to visit nearby resorts and near beach. We definitely will be back and highly recommend this cottage..x

  Beautiful comfortable clean cottage close to all amenities, I would highly recommend to anyone looking to book and would book again.

  We arrived to a lovely welcome pack and treats for the dog much appreciated. The Bay is a great location to stay with easy short journeys to Filey, Scarborough, Bridlington and Whitby. The only disappointment we had is eating in the Bayside Kitchen Dinner we ordered panini’s but had to leave them as they were not nice at all and the menu for the John Paul Pub has changed since the Bay changed from Hoseasons and the food is not as good.

  The cottage was lovely and very well equipped with everything we needed.

  It was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The short walk to the beach from our cottage was fantastic for quick walks with the dog or longer walks over to Filey. The park's location off the main road meant that it was always easy and quick to get to other towns and locations in the car. The park definitely lacked an on site shop but I understand that there is one planned for the future.
