Walking
The walking around Polzeath is almost as good as the surfing. Just north of Polzeath is Pentireglaze National Trust Car Park and a little café. From there, you can walk to The Rumps Iron Age Fort and then onto Pentire Point, an incredible rock formation with stunning views of the surrounding area. Then, you can continue the circle around the coast and end up back where you started. It's a wonderful four-mile walk. For those looking for a longer walk, there is a nine-mile coastal walk from Polzeath to Port Issac. If you don't fancy doing the entire 18.8 miles, there is a bus back. This route is challenging and requires solid walking boots. The area has many walks, with some a short drive away. When you book your last-minute walking holiday for you and your family, choose to stay in one of our hot tub cottages to completely relax after a day's walking.
