  Beautiful cottage for our wonderful Autumn stay.

  I know it's an old property, but the amount of cobwebs around the lights and especially behind the headboards of the single beds were a little off putting - a good vacuum would sort this. Lots of clutter, ornaments etc, where you could see that they've been polished around. Too many plates cups and too much cutlery for a cottage sleeping only 4. The bathroom light is temperamental. The fire in the living roomed worked, however the display did not light up. The upstairs main bedroom the floorboards move so much we were worried the wardrobe and chest of drawers would tip over, or the ornaments would fall and smash. Please remember to take a toilet roll as we arrived before going to the shops and there wasn't no toilet roll at all. However we did have a lovely stay, during storm Ciarán, we certainly couldn't hear much of the bad weather from inside the cottage and we were warm enough. A well stocked shop a short walk down the road and a lovely café. We would like to return to this beautiful cottage.

  Wow, what can we say other than WOW!

  ! What a great time we had staying at the Fern. Not only did we love every minute, our 2 cockapoos, Maggie & Mabel, had the time of their lives there too. They absolutely loved running around the grounds and seeing some of the farm animals from across the way. And we were able to relax, knowing that it was in enclosed, so the dogs were safe at all times. The hot tub was perfect, along with the outside fire. Julie, the owner, went out her way to ensure we had the best stay there. From providing stuff for the dogs (poo bags, water/food bowls, toys etc), she also posted back to us a few bits that we had accidentally left behind there - ops! The Fern was super clean and comfortable. Just an all round perfect stay. We will definitely be back!! And I'll be recommending it to everyone I know!! Thanks so much again Julie!!   Lovely get away!

  Prefect as described. Hut itself was clean and tidy, lovely size, had a mini book shelf, and games/pet supplies under the bed, which was a nice touch. Had a good amount of wood for the fire and hot tub. A folder that explained how to use the hot tub etc and a cleaning tick list so you could see they had clean it before our stay. We were facing the farm land which had, chickens, goats, sheep and a pound with ducks. We were based around many farms as you could hear the farm animals around us. We were fenced in so our dog could roam freely without getting out. There was another hut behind us, people in that hut were friendly and quiet, you couldn’t see them unless we walked along the path to our car. Overall it was a great, have recommend it to many friends and family and would definitely come back again. ☺️

  The cottage is in an ideal location with all local supermarkets and the town centre being a short 5-10 minute drive away.

  There is very little sound of passing traffic due to the location of Trevalgas cottages. As a result, the sheep and birds can be heard all throughout the day which is very calming. The cottage itself was extremely clean and comfortable. It had everything from cutlery to a fully equipped picnic basket! The on-site laundry room is especially handy and the heated swimming pool is a bonus. I would highly recommend Honeysuckle cottage to those looking for an alternative to a hotel and wish to be a little closer to nature. My partner and I, and our 2 dogs, will definitely be returning! Thank you to Reneé for the cleanliness and upkeep of the property ♡

  Groom Cottage is a delightful and charming old farm cottage.

  We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here even though the weather was quite dismal . The facilities were kept meticulously clean - including use of the shared, heated pool and it’s changing rooms , children’s playground and use of the shared playroom. The kitchen was well equipped in this characterful cottage . The beds were comfortable and the pretty sunroom was a lovely room to eat in. We enjoyed our visit to Bude and would recommend the Preston’s Arms in the very attractive ancient village of Poughill less than half a mile away. We would love to return for another holiday , thank you
